What is the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible boost?
Aberrus, The Shadowed Crucible is a raid in the game’s latest update (patch 10.1). It’s a PvE adventure that takes players to an ancient Neltharion laboratory, where powerful dragons experimented on different creatures. In this place, dracthyrs were created, but also some terrible and scary beings you wouldn’t want to encounter.
During this adventure, players can face 9 bosses, including the Echo of Neltharion, and obtain new gear to make their characters stronger (ranging from 415 item level in Normal mode to 450 in Mythic mode).

Aberrus Carry Loot System
In the Aberrus boost, there are different options for how loot is distributed:
- Group Loot: This is the basic option included in all Aberrus carry offers. It’s the cheapest and fastest way to unlock three Great Vault rewards of your choice. During the Aberrus raid, you have a chance to get about 1-2 items on average. However, the in-game group loot system is random, and you’ll roll with other raid participants for items. So, we can’t guarantee a specific number of items you’ll get. But you can increase your chances by adding 1 to 3 guaranteed items as an extra option. If you pass on looting certain items and they are not needed by others, you’ll still get a minimum guarantee of loot.
- Armor and Token Priority: With this option, you’ll join a group of boosters with clear cooldowns and three other customers for the Aberrus raid. Depending on the number of unsaved boosters you choose, the raid group will have the opportunity to loot 26 to 48 items and 9 or 15 tokens during the Aberrus loot runs. Each player will get at least 4 items during the full run (which can be increased to 7 as a minimum guarantee). You’ll have priority for tokens and items that suit your class, except for non-set gear pieces like necklaces, rings, trinkets, cloaks, and weapons. Non-set items will be rolled among you and the other three customers. If you don’t get the guaranteed number of items during the raid, we’ll complete the raid for you the following week to finish the order. If you pass on looting certain items and they are not needed by others, you’ll still get a minimum guarantee of loot.
- Full Priority: This is the fastest way to gear up your character. In this option, the raid group consists of only you and our boosters. You get all suitable loot, including tier set tokens, necklaces, rings, cloaks, trinkets, and weapons during the Aberrus carries. You can also invite up to 2 of your friends to the raid to share this experience and loot with them.
