Call of Duty Black Ops 6: How to play early with New Zealand trick

The next installment of the Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise is just around the corner from releasing this week worldwide. The fans are excited for Black Ops 6 as it made a game-changing impression on all players with its new gameplay mechanics like grabbing and especially the Omnimovement that allows players to make aerial and ground movements like never before. 

Black Ops 6 is finally a few hours and you can play it early using our guide. If you guys want to play it as soon as it launches, you need to follow the New Zealand trick. You can utilize the New Zealand trick regardless of your region. However, only Steam and Battle.net users will have to follow the release date of 9 pm PT on 24 October, 2024.

All the other platforms Xbox Series S/X, Xbox One, Playstation 4, Playstation 5 and PC via Xbox Game Pass will be able to play it early with the trick. Black Ops 6 is also, the first COD to be available to play on day one via Xbox Game Pass. You will be able to play BO6 using the New Zealand trick at 4 am PT on 24 October 2024.

How to play Black Ops 6 early with New Zealand trick

The New Zealand trick has been used for a long time and is not risky in any sense. It requires you to change your location to access games. Previous COD titles have also allowed the use of the trick. However, Black Ops 6 has different release times on different platforms. So, these release times will be applied to your platform to play the game.

New Zealand will be the region to gain early access to BO6. So, you can also gain early access by shifting to the New Zealand region.

Black Ops 6 Xbox Series S/X and Xbox One method

Firstly, change your region in your Activision account.

  1. Log in to your Activision account.
  2. Navigate to the Profile section.
  3. Go to Basic Info.
  4. In the Address field, enter a random New Zealand address and click Save.

Change your region settings in Xbox.

  1. Open the Settings menu on your Xbox.
  2. Go to System.
  3. Select Language & Location.
  4. Set the Region to New Zealand.
  5. Restart your Xbox.

Black Ops 6 Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 method

For Playstation 4 and Playstation 5 users you will only be required to change the setting of your Activision account. Changing your Activision account settings to New Zealand region by adding a random address will allow you to get in BO6 early.

  1. Log in to your Activision account.
  2. Navigate to the Profile section.
  3. Go to Basic Info.
  4. Enter a random New Zealand address in the Address section and click Save.

PC via Xbox Game Pass app method

If you are using the Xbox Game Pass app on your PC, you will be required to update your Activision and Windows region settings. After changing both you can jump into BO6.

Change your Activision settings.

  1. Log in to your Activision account.
  2. Go to the Profile section.
  3. Navigate to Basic Info.
  4. Enter a random New Zealand address in the Address field and click Save.

Next, you need to change the Windows region settings on your PC.

  1. Open Windows Settings.
  2. Go to Time & Language.
  3. Change the Country or Region to New Zealand.
  4. Restart your PC.

Note: There is no early access option and New Zealand trick on Steam and Battle.net.
