Master Madrid 2024 Tournament will kick off within a week as the Esports community of the Valorant are excited to spectate the first biggest international event of the year. To determine the champions of the first Masters event in VCT 2024, two teams from EMEA, China, the Pacific, and the Americas will move into Madrid Spain to participate in the event. The potential of hidden talents will break into the special scene.
The tournament notably checks the core of the previous Optic Gaming/NRG lineup, FunPlus Phoenix/NaVI core, and the DRX core missing. It is such a piece of shocking news that these teams are now household names not only on the national stage but also on the international stage. Multiple new faces will rise due to the absence of these lineups. In the Valorant Patch Notes 8.02 to 8.03, the developers mainly focused on updating the Esports section and removing the bugs as well.
VCT Master Madrid: Format, schedule, teams, Venue
For the first global Valorant Champions Event of 2024, the matches have been set. A total of 8 teams will participate around the world and will compete for Masters Madrid Champion in Madrid, Spain from 14th March-24th March.
Participating Teams
The four kick-off international Leagues were held for the Valorant Champions Event 2024. These international leagues were the following.

In each of these leagues, a total of 11 teams participate in the competitions and the top two finalists will participate in Masters Madrid Valorant, Spain. The teams that will move into Madrid for the Valorant Champions Event 2024 are:

Each of the teams has at one point looked like the best in their region but lost to each other in the group stage or the Grand Finals. Outside of Edward Gaming and Funplus Phoenix, they only faced off once regardless this is why so many are saying Masters Madrid is such an open tournament where almost any team can win it.
Paper Rex VS Edward Gaming are like old-time rivals in Valorant. The Loud and Gen.G were the former VCT Pacific Kickoff Champions, Loud is considered to be the best VCT Americas team, and as a matter of fact, they haven’t won any recent tournament.

All of the Matches will be in Madrid, Spain.
Format
The Masters Madrid tournament will be categorized into two sections. These sections are the following.

⦁ Bracket Stage
To destine the starting match-ups, each team will move into 4 matches depending on the outcome of the Kickoff league. The matches will be against the second-place finisher of their national leagues. Each team will face the 2nd place finisher of another region. Match between the same region is not allowed, every match will be against the 2nd finalist of the league of a different region.
Swiss Stage
The Swiss Stage will start on 14th March and end on 18th March. In the Swiss Stage, each of the eight teams will compete against all the teams. Teams have to gain 2 victories early to move into the Playoff round. Each of the matches will be Best of Three. Out of the eight teams, only 4 will conceive into playoff matches in the next round.

Bracket Stage
The Bracket stage will start on 21st March and end on 24th March. A random draw will pair the competitors, and a double-elimination bracket will narrow them down. Each of the matches will be the Best of three. Only the lower finals and grand finals will be of the Best of Five matches series. There will be Upper Bracket Finals and Lower bracket Finals in the Bracket stage.

All of the Above matches will be from 14th March 2024 till March 24th 2024. From the Swiss Stage, the Tournament will kick off and then will move into the 2nd round which will be Bracket stages and after that, there will be A Grand Final between the two remaining Teams.
Prize Pool
The total amount for the first-place team has been revealed along with the prize money of all the other positions as well. The total amount that will be distributed to the position holders is the following.
⦁ For the winning team of Madrid Champions 2024- The Prize money is $250,000 and 3 VCT Points
⦁ For the 2nd finalist of the Madrid Champions 2024- The Prize money will be $100,000
⦁ The prize money for 3rd Position team will be $65,000
⦁ $35,000 will be distributed to the team that will stand on 4th position
⦁ For the Fifth and sixth teams- The prize money will be only $15,000 and will be distributed to both teams.
⦁ For the 7th and 8th teams- The prize money will be only $10,000 and will be distributed to both teams.
