This feature will allow you to watch your own POV as well as the enemy’s POV. It is very efficient in gathering knowledge of any unknown lineups from your teammates/enemies or getting a clip of yourself connecting a sick shot or a clutch. Follow these simple steps below to watch your recently played matches of CS2.
- Launch CS2
- Go to your match history by clicking on the TV icon next to the home button.
- Click on ‘Your Matches’ option from the tab
- Select a match you wish to review.
- Click on the green Download icon.
- Once your match has been downloaded, a new Watch icon will appear.
- Click on it to load into your demo.
Now, the replay of the match will begin normally, but with no controls. The replay controls are essential as they will allow you to watch the replay of the match as you wish with certain commands.
Basic Control Scheme for Reviewing Replay in CS2
To review your match replay efficiently, press Shift+F2 on your keyboard or open the console and type in the “demoui” command. Doing so will bring up the media bar for the replay offering various actions as follows.

- Open and log in to your Steam
- Click on Games and then All Games.
- Click on My Game Stats under “Counter-Strike 2”

- Find the replay you want in Premier Matches.
- Click on the Download Replay button under your preferred match in the history.
- Open the game files by browsing the game’s local files from your Steam Library.
The default path of your downloaded demos will be “Steam\steamapps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\game\csgo\replays”.
