Rocket League Season 18 Release Date
Rocket League Season 18 is set to start on March 14, 2025 at 9 am PT. Psyonix revealed that the new season will feature a brand new arena, with new customization items like new banners, “Breathe” a new player anthem and new mutators.
Mutators are always fun and will help players change the game according to their playstyle.
New Ping Oops you missed!
Rocket League took a tone on players and teammates that missed their final shots and are celebrating well before. Now, in case when the ball hits the goalposts there will be a new Ping sound that will play and echo in the arena. This will happen every time the ball hits the goalpost. This is a fun new interactive way and addition to the world of Rocket League.
Voice Reporting Feature
Rocket League Season 18 will introduce the Voice Reporting feature to keep the game safe. The feature was earlier introduced in Fortnite and is finally making its way to Rocket League. This will help insure and help players save from toxic teammates and other players who shake the balance of the match. Voice Reporting will take strict actions against players who give abusive voice communications. You will also be able to provide audio evidence and submit to Rocket League in-game to help ban such players. This will help remove toxicity from the game, which is a great step for experience.
Players will be able to report 5 minutes of audio evidence, which will then be reviewed and taken action accordingly. However, Epic would not be bugging in players audio but only players will be able to report it to the team to review and take actions.
How to Report Toxic Voice Chat in Rocket League
- Open the Sidebar and navigate to the Voice Chat tab.
- Click the “Report Conversation” button.
- Once the report screen loads, press “Submit Report” to finalize.
- Close the screen and return to your game.
