Everything You Should Know About Deadlock Game

If you are somewhat active in the gaming community you must’ve heard about Valve’s new game deadlock in the past few months. But if you aren’t active within the community, let me get you up to speed. So Valve has announced a shooter game with a third-person perspective. The game’s main theme is a bit out of the norm because it is not clearly defined as what Deadlock is trying to portray.

As most shooters, we play daily to clearly define what they are and what they are trying to deliver. For instance, Overwatch is a competitive hero shooter, on the other hand, Counter-Strike is a hardcore tactical shooter and Valorant tries to be a blend of these two. But in the case of Deadlock, there are a couple of game genres involved.

Deadlock

Firstly the game and its characters are inspired by battle arena games like Dota and League. Secondly, the shooting mechanics are somewhat similar to counter-strike but movement in the game is pretty similar to overwatch. The graphics of it remind me of Fortnite. So all in all, the game is a blend of every famous shooter genre out there.

So if all of this gets you excited then I am here to give you more information about the game. When will it be released, what platform it will be available for, and how can you play the game? I will answer all of these queries in this blog. So hang tight.

Dead Lock’s release date:

The game’s precise release date has not been confirmed yet. The reasoning behind that deadlock is still in the middle of development. Unlike most other games where the developers give off a beta phase with almost finished games. But in the case of a deadlock, the game is nowhere near finished.

The development will most likely take another 6 to 8 months after that we might get a complete version of the game. If we look at the past couple of years of games that have been pushed out in a rush it’s safe to say that It’s better to wait and get the finished product than get a rushed-out game that gives off a sour experience. With that said deadlock is set to be released somewhere in the middle of 2025.

Which platforms Deadlock will be available for?:

So the game is currently only available for pc as Valve’s notorious games like Dota and Counter-Strike are only available on pc That is why they are catering to PC gamers because it is what they have been doing for the past decade Except for half life alyx. Anyway, here are the system requirements that you would need to get Deadlock up and running.

  • OS: Windows 10 (64-bit) or later.
  • Processor: Intel Core i5-2500K / AMD Ryzen 3 1200 or equivalent.
  •  Memory: 8 GB RAM. Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 / AMD Radeon HD 7850.
  • DirectX: Version 11. Network: Broadband Internet connection.
  • Storage: 20 GB available space.

While the game already has more than 170k players in the beta phase and once released it is guaranteed to be a success. So it is safe to say that after a year or two the game’s release will eventually be out for other platforms like PlayStation and Xbox. There is only a year left when we will get this title in our hands. But if you want to play it before the official release then there is also a way to do that. You just have to get an account with an invitation to play and you will join hundreds of thousands of other players who are currently playing the game.
