Marvel Rivals and NetEase Games just announced the release date and launch trailer for Season 3. They also showcased a roadmap for Marvel Rivals going in-depth about what is to come in-game. The new Season includes new map, team-ups, heroes including Phoenix and Blade, and more.
The Devs released a Dev Vision video for Season 3, The Abyss Awakens, which showcased new upcoming skins and Battle Pass skins for the new season. Knull is the main villain for this season, and there are new skins based on the Symbiote in this season. However, there is a Symbiote skin in Season 2.5, but we got you covered with all the Symbiote skins in Season 3.

Marvel Rivals Season 3 Release Date
Marvel Rivals Season 3 is going into full swing on July 11, bringing new heroes Phoenix and Blade, with a brand-new map, hero changes, and more. Complete patch notes for the upcoming season will be released closer to the launch. Moreover, there’s a new Battle Pass called Power of the Phoenix based on the upcoming hero, and it is based around Knull.
New Battle Pass Symbiote Skins
We recently got our first look at the upcoming battle pass, and it includes three symbiote skins and a Phoenix Force skin for Emma Frost. Moreover, devs revealed that starting with Season 3, there will be shorter seasons. This means now the battle passes will be shorter to claim in time.
The three Symbiote skins included in Marvel Rivals Season 3 battle pass are following.
- Rocket Raccoon
- Jeff the Land Shark
- Squirrel Girl
However, it’s still unknown if there will be a symbiote skin included in the free tier. Moreover, the rarity of these skins is unknown. Emma Frost’s Phoenix skin will be the final reward for the battle pass and will be a legendary skin. The Battle Pass’s prices remain unchanged, so it’ll cost 990 Lattice for the Luxury tier and 2,100 Lattice for the Upgraded Luxury tier.
Symbiote Storm
During the Dev Vision video, we also saw a new Events tab in Marvel Rivals. And we also got a look at the upcoming Symbiote Storm skin. Symbiote Storm will be a free skin and will be unlockable by completing challenges.
Symbiote Hela
There is a new Symbiote skin for Hela in Season 3, and it seems to be linked with Knull. However, there is no information if this is a free skin, but it looks like it will be the very first Legendary skin for Hela and will be available to purchase in store.
Symbiote Captain America
Captain Klyntar was introduced in Season 2.5 and the skin line is going live with a new patch on July 3 at 7 PM PT. Captain Klyntar is Captain America’s fourth Epic skin in Marvel Rivals. Like any skin in this category, it features an exclusive MVP animation, SFX, background, and emote.
