Fortnite has released a new mode called Blitz Royale and it is super fun for mobile players as well. This mode makes the game fast for all players making it 5 minutes per match. What is Fortnite Blitz Royale
Fortnite Blitz is a new game mode available with rogue-like elements designed for quick, fast-paced matches, tailored to mobile gamers. It’s quite similar to Save the World but that was a paid mode, and Blitz Royale is completely free, and there are max 32 players in a match with roguelike elements at the core.
You start with a random Medallion and weapon and level up with killing other players and staying alive as long as you can. However, these Medallions, unlike the original Fortnite, do not reveal your location. A match usually lasts around five minutes in the Blitz Royale mode.
Fortnite Blitz Royale Events
Fortnite Blitz Royale released on June 18 and will run through July 15 as it’s a limited-time mode. However, Epic Games have showcased there will be four weeks’ worth of content in this mode.
Here is everything coming to Fortnite Blitz Royale.
- June 18: Week 1 – Find new Mythic versions of popular weapons, like the Rocket Ram, in the rare Golden Llama
- June 24: Week 2 – The Avatar Returns! Pagodas from the Four Nations appear on the map, and players start with a Bending Scroll from Avatar: The Last Airbender
- July 1: Week 3 – Replacing Bending Scrolls are power-packed boss weapons like Thorne’s Vampiric Blade and the new Blitz Chain of Hades
- July 8: Week 4 – TMNT Melee Mayhem! Replacing boss items are melee weapons from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, plus Megalo Don’s Nitro Fists, the Mythic Typhoon Blade, Blitz Kneecapper, and more
Blitz Royale Rewards
The new Blitz Royale mode also comes with exclusive rewards and these are limited-time rewards that you can get until July 15. You can get a new outfit skin called Blitz Knight. You can get it by reaching 10 account levels or placing in 10 for 20 matches. There is also a glider skin, Blitz Brella Glider, that you get for winning three Blitz matches.
Blitz Royale is not only a mode that has been released but we also got a new LEGO Fortnite Expeditions mode. - Leveling up is very important in the Blitz Royale and each level up will give you stronger weapons and new power-ups. So, in Blitz Royale, as battles are closer, you need to focus on playing aggressively and getting eliminations. You can get more powerful Medallions, Boons, Mythics, and more.
- Loot Chests as much as you. At the start of the match, you spawn in with a pistol and a Shield Bubble in your inventory. Your main focus is to immediately start looking for Chests, and they give better Boons and weapons to help you move ahead in fights.
- Best weapons to use in Blitz Royale are Shotguns and SMGS. So, try to get into close quarter battles and avoid long-range. As the Circle move quick, you need to use SMGs and Shotguns as ARs have slow fire-rate which can cause you to lose your battles.
- Keep moving in the Circle as it never stops in the Blitz Royale mode; you need to be on the move quickly. Try sticking to the center of the Storm Circle to have an advantage and let other players come to you and giving you better odds in winning fights.
