It is found through Ranni’s quest, which spans the course of the game, but for the Dark Moon Great Sword, I would say it is worth it. Now, to get the sword, you would have to defeat the demi-human queen Marigga. You could find this boss at the Cerulean Coast West save point.

Not only is it the signature weapon of the hardest boss that FromSoftware has ever created, but it is also considered one of the best remembrance weapons the game has to offer. While the stats of this katana are not mind-boggling or extraordinary, it has a unique weapon skill that earns the weapon its spot.

It is the strongest and, overall, the best weapon to have in the game
