Valve has revealed a brand new Dota 2 hero at The International 13 called Kez, who is set to launch in just a few weeks with the arrival of Crownfall act four.
There is nothing on the web about release date or any leaks about abilities, facet etc. However, this hero was shown in Diretide event back in 2020 next to hoodwink.
At the tournament, just before the grand finals kicked off, a trailer was shown for Kez, the new Dota 2 hero who is set to launch in just a few weeks. Kez is a bird like creature who is being dubbed as a samurai, making this the long rumoured bird samurai hero.
Details are thin on the ground, but the trailer showed a character who can move swiftly around, seemingly being able to jump around different objects and deal significant damage with its sword. This would suggest that Kez is likely a core, and given that Ringmaster, the most recent Dota 2 hero is a support, that would make sense to even it out.
Kez is the second hero to release during Crownfall following Ringmaster’s long-awaited arrival in late August with Act Three, and he launched without any Facets or Aghanim’s Scepter abilities, so expect more of the same for Kez when we hit the servers on Act Four launch day soon.
