Verdansk is coming home and coming a day early. The fan favorite Warzone map is returning with CoD Season 3. There will be a big Verdansk launch event with over 20 free rewards for players to claim. You will be able to jump back in Verdansk with Season 3 on April 2, 2025 at 9 am PT. More updates are coming to Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies.
Verdansk is finally returning to Call of Duty Warzone with the 5th anniversary of the mode. Verdansk is set to release in Call of Duty Warzone on April 3, 2025. Call of Duty shared in a post on X and followed it with a exclusive trailer for the announcement. This will be one of the biggest content update coming to the game.
Zombies players are in for a treat with a brand-new map and weapons coming to BO6 Zombies with new The Tomb map. Treyarch recently revealed about the next map coming to the game called The Tomb which will be an ancient catacombs filled with different types of zombie hordes. The Tomb will be the fourth map releasing to BO6 Zombies and it’s the second map coming after launch.
BO6 Season 2 is going to be the next big update for Call of Duty going in to 2025. Currently, players are nuked with events like CODMAS, Squid Game event and the brand new Zombies map Citadelle des Morts. Season 2 will include a brand new Battle Pass and a Black Cell Pass. Moreover, major changes are coming in Season 2 to Anti-cheat which will help with integrity of Ranked Play in BO6.
Black Ops 6 is currently having a collab with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. This includes a brand new event and a event pass which has over 20 rewards that players can get. Splinter is also a new exclusive operator skin that players can get. The Splinter from TMNT looks really cool in BO6.
Black Ops 6 is moving fast to its Season 3. However, the content and events keep coming. We just got the new Clover Craze Event which is a total free event. Also, Verdansk is coming back with Season 3. Clover Craze is a free event with a ton of exclusive rewards to claim. Unlike the TMNT event which required a premium pass for all the rewards.

Verdansk Launch Event and Free Gun
Verdansk is rebuilt from scratch and comes with a ton of updates. In order to celebrate the return, CoD is having a Verdansk Launch Event with 20 exclusive rewards. However, players can complete these challenges across different regions on Verdansk to unlock Kali Sticks Melee Weapon as well.
Another free weapon is Kilo 141 Assault Rifle which is a fan favorite from the old Verdansk. Players will be able to unlock Kilo 141 Assault Rifle in both Warzone and Black Ops 6 by logging in to the game on April 2 for Season 3.
Free Trial for Black Ops 6
If you were waiting on playing BO6, this is the right time as CoD is doing a free trial for BO6 just in time for Season 3. You will be able to preload for the free trial event on April 2. You can play for free for 24 hours and grind free rewards and try all available modes on BO6.

- Going Up in the World: Exterior Ascenders are coming to Verdansk, but later in the season in Battle Royale Modes, after the original March 2020 gameplay mechanics are employed (before Ascenders came to the game). Rooftop exploits however, are mitigated.
