What is the MW3 Season 6 release date?
COD MW3 Season 6 will drop on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at 9 AM PT/ 12 PM ET/ 5 PM BST. The actual release date was shown earlier in the Season 5 Battle Pass timer but with the new official update by COD. Season 6 is set to release on September 18. Black Ops 6 Beta files will be removed by when the Season 6 update goes live.
Michael Myers coming in MW3 Season 6 The Haunting
Michael Myers is once again set to make a comeback in the Spooky Season 6 for MW3. Michael Myers was added back into Call of Duty Ghosts. After a long time, he is back with his sinister aura to haunt us in the new The Haunting event. The Haunting will feature new maps exclusive to the event.
New maps in MW3 Season 6
The Haunting Maps will be available when Season 6 goes live. Here are all the new maps and remixed maps coming with The Haunting in MW3 Season 6.
There will be a new 6v6 core map called Drive Thru. It’s a smaller map and based around Funny’s Fried Fun. Funny’s is a clown-themed restaurant and it’s a night mode map which makes it more eerie.
Also, Meat is getting a Halloween remix with The Haunting event and a new variant for the map will be called Mad Cow. The water area is good for sneaking up and scaring enemies in the Mad Cow map. Shipment will receive 5 different variants; every Shipment map will have a different theme.

New modes with The Haunting in MW3 Season 6
The Haunting event will be coming to both MW3 multiplayer and Warzone and include a Halloween vibe. There are plenty of modes coming with the spooky season.

Hordepoint
Hordepoint is making a comeback in MW3. Hordepoint was first introduced in COD WW2. It’s like a hard mode for Hardpoint mode. Where you need to secure an area that is rotating around the map to score points.
However, in Hordepoint there will be zombies in the form of hordes all around the map. You will have to defend the secure area from both enemies and zombies.
Infected
Infected is the fan-favorite mode for The Haunting event and it is returning in Season 6. One player will be chosen to play as an Infected and they will have only melee weapons and throwing knives. Infected needs to take out all the survivors.
When Infected kills a survivor, they join the infected to hunt the remaining survivors. Infected can win the match only if they kill all the survivors before the timer runs out.
Mutation
Season 6 also hosts the return of Mutation and the teams are divided into Operators and Mutants. Operators can choose from their normal classes while Mutant have only 4 classes.

New Weapons in MW3 Season 6
Two new weapons are being added to Season 6 with the new Battle Pass. The DTIR 30-06 Battle Rifle and Kastov LSW LMG both will be added to the game in the new update.
DTIR 30-06 Battle Rifle is a slow fire rate rifle but has more damage and can be good for long range. However, the new KASTOV LSW LMG has more fire speed and is good for both close and medium range. The new LMG also has a faster reload speed.
