Map design is one of the most difficult jobs in game development, and most gamers can’t even comprehend how difficult it is to create a map from scratch, which has a good layout, is balanced, does not have abusable locations, has a replayability factor, and lastly is interesting enough to keep playing.

That’s the reason why you see the map updates in online games so much: devs add and remove things, certain locations, and POIs from it regularly. To keep the map fresh and stop getting stale. Now, in this blog, we are going to talk about a map from ARC raiders.

Before You Continue

If you often lose raids because you don’t know where to rotate, extract, or safely loot on Spaceport, having a structured map plan can prevent avoidable deaths.

Spaceport Map Overview

This blog is going to be a direct guide on Spaceport, which is the third map of the base game. In this blog i am going to talk about how to safely navigate around the map. The best loot areas of the map, and things to keep in mind while playing on it.

How to Navigate in Spacesport

So firstly, you need to understand that the map is complex and has multilevel buildings, corridors, and ziplines. So allow yourself to make a few mistakes here and there.

Use ladders and ziplines for vertical movement. Since the map has a lot of buildings, it is better to use ziplines to cover most floors of the building and save time, but if you want to explore the floors of the building, you’ll need to use the ladder to go from floor to floor. High ground is also helpful since it lets you overlook a good part of the map.

Which makes it easier to decide about where to go next or if there are any obstacles around.

The next thing you need to know is to decide which direction you’ll exit early in the raid, because deciding that beforehand will help you out in leaving the raid faster if anything happens, because you’ll know exactly where to go.

You should regularly use your minimap to know exactly where you are, where the extraction point is, and where you want to go.

Go through the structure of the map instead of going wide and open in the terrain, because it will be easier for enemies to spot and kill you if there’s no cover for you to hide in.

Lastly, pay close attention to your surroundings and keep your volume up. Enemy footsteps, ARC patrols, and other noises will tell you a lot about whether a situation is safe to get into or not.

Supporting Insight

Spaceport is designed around vertical pressure. Players who ignore upper floors or underground corridors are more likely to get flanked.

Player Tip

Before entering a large building, identify at least one ladder and one zipline for a fast escape route.

Expert Note

Many failed Spaceport raids happen because players delay extraction after securing loot. Early exit planning improves survival rate.

Navigation Planning CTA

If Spaceport feels overwhelming, improving route planning and exit awareness often matters more than better weapons.

Points of Interest

Now let’s talk about where to go for loots what are the best points of interest in the map? The map has an abundant amount of loot in it, so I will list down the best location to get the loot, as well as the points of interest, so you can have a good time exploring the map.

Loot Points and Loot Tier

The table below helps you prioritize loot routes during a raid. Use it to decide where to rotate based on risk, time, and extraction distance.

Loot PointLoot TierNotes / Additional Info
Vehicle MaintenanceGood LootSafer early-raid loot location
Rocket AssembleGood LootUseful mid-rotation stop
Trench TowersGood LootVertical positioning with loot access
Control Tower A6Great LootHigh reward, often contested
Container StorageGreat LootDense loot, ambush risk
Launch TowersGreat LootLong sightlines, strong loot
Arrival buildingGreat LootBalanced loot and cover
Departure BuildingGreat LootHigh traffic, high reward

Loot Optimization CTA

If you struggle to extract after hitting high-tier loot zones, refining loot order and rotation timing can reduce failed raids.

Apart from that, there are other places you could go to get either medical supplies or to get blueprints of the guns. You can explore the map while searching for these things and get into a fight or two with other raiders and ARCs.

Special Locations and Utility POIs

The locations below focus on sustain, crafting, and long-term progression rather than raw loot value.

LocationWhy Go ThereNotes
GalleriaExcellent for farming Mullein (for bandages/seeds)Useful for healing sustainability
Space TravelIt has some of the best tech loot in the entire mapHigh value, higher danger
Research BuildingIt is attached to space travel and is a reliable source to get medical SuppliesStrong mid-raid recovery stop
LibraryHas plenty of lockers, and you might get lucky stumbling upon valuable blueprintsRNG-based but rewarding

First-Hand Experience

What we’ve seen in live raids is that players who briefly detour to medical or blueprint POIs tend to survive longer during extended Spaceport engagements.

Player Tip

Leave at least one inventory slot open when passing utility POIs. Blueprints and medical supplies often appear unexpectedly.

POI Strategy CTA

If long Spaceport raids keep ending due to low supplies, prioritizing utility POIs can stabilize your runs.

Final Spaceport Notes

• Vertical awareness is critical
• Early extraction planning reduces panic decisions
• Audio cues provide better threat awareness than visuals alone
• High-tier loot areas attract both players and ARCs
