Belle is more fit for the MC role considering she is clumsy and expressive. Meanwhile Wise looks calm and collected, and his role is really good to assist Belle in the hollow. I pick Belle because my head canon is that Belle is more in sync with Eos but Wise is better at programming, so he running tech support while Belle controls Eos. Who should you pick between Belle and wise
When the player starts the game, they will choose between Belle and Wise and the other will become an assistant. Belle is the one that is always encouraging Wise to do anything while Wise is the one to do most of the risky actions. Both Belle and Wise are part of the Proxy known as “Phaethon,” working together to help others explore Hollow. If you’re like me and have trouble choosing between Belle and Wise, I will try to help you come to a decision. Personally, every game I’ve played, I’ve always picked the female MC. So, when choosing between Wise and Belle I thought it was going to be an easy decision. However, there was a lot of talk about choosing the MC that you don’t like just because the one you like would talk more. Zenless Zone Zero is different as you can’t play as an MC when fighting. They are used for dialogue options and story progression.
The game has both protagonists and you’ll be able to see both of them in the game often. So, you shouldn’t feel the need to choose the one you don’t like. This game will have a lot of character interactions and social link stuff. So, even though I normally choose the female MC I think for this game for better immersion I’ll be going with Wise. Even though, his design isn’t as good as Belle’s.
There are a few things that change my mind when looking into it firstly his personality. Compared to other MCs for games he seems to have a cooler and more collected Aura. He seems to have everything under control and is someone reliable. The second thing is his running style. He is faster than Bele and I think that Bella’s Running Animation is kind of goofy. It doesn’t matter who you choose both protagonists will be a big part of the story. You’ll see both a plenty amount of times throughout the story.
I’m only choosing Wise because of dialogue options and emotion. If you are a guy and want to play Belle, go ahead, I always pick the female MC so I understand. If you’re a girl and like Wise’s design and voice then go ahead with Wise. Choose who you want to play with and Vibe with the most. It’s a hard choice to choose between the two but at the end of the day, Zenless Zone Zero does an excellent job of incorporating both protagonists.
Belle or Wise – Which one to Prefer
Belle and Wise never take part in combat but are responsible for guiding and directing your other playable units. Belle and Wise team up to form a single Proxy in the story of Zenless Zone Zero. Both of these characters play more of the support role to the Agents. They are basically at the frontlines when it comes to commissions. Players can control the Wise or Belle only in the main city hub. You can interact here with the locals and Agents in this area. Your choice determines who you play in the game and who is your assistant. During exploration and overworld activities in New Eridu, the selected character is your Avatar. The other that you don’t choose is your companion.
Did you know Belle is really into fighting games? First off, if you check inside Belle’s room around the TV you can discover that she’s a pretty big gamer. Judging by the thrown-out video games and her arcade stick, it also seems like she could be a pretty big fan of fighting games. Belle also separates herself from Wise and her taste in music. Besides the various metal-themed vinyl covers, she also keeps an electric guitar and matching amp by the couch. She’s also described as having a quote-unquote beautiful singing voice according to her brother. She’s also into extreme sports such as snowboarding. She also seems to enjoy skateboards which you can tell from a couple of designs that she has in her room.
Wise loves to read as seen inside his bedroom you can find a huge range of different books all across the shelves. As well as even display cases and cabinets that are packed full of books. On the personality side, Wise is seen to be much more introverted than his sister. While Belle is known to be a more ambitious and extraverted one. Wise also keeps in touch with nature and keeps plants in his room. One of his biggest hobbies is long bike rides out in New Eridu. Whereas Belle almost always would rather drive. Taking a look inside his room, you can also notice that he prefers a calmer taste in both music and movies.
