Valorant’s next Act is right around the corner, which brings down to the recent teases of Agent 26. But we have news Valorant’s new agent’s name got leaked earlier today. The leaks suggest the new agent is called Vyse.
Meanwhile, Valorant Champions Seoul is on the brink of end this weekend but that’s just not it, It’s also bringing Valorant’s brand new Episode 9 Act 2. The new patch 9.04 will bring Vyse. Also, Riot has started to post teasers about the new agent on social media.

When will Vyse be released?
Vyse also known previously as Agent 26 will be released on Tuesday, August 27/Wednesday, August 28 according to your region based in NA/EU. Vyse will be added to the game in patch 9.04, it comes beside the new act.
Vyse’s Role and Abilities
Vyse’s Role has also been leaked online on Twitter according to a recent leak on ValorantLeaksEN, Vyse is a Sentinel and there will be a total of six Sentinels with the joining of Agent 26. There have been quite some teases about Agent 26 from Riot themselves as well. According to teasers and in-game player cards, it is confirmed Vyse will be a female character and she has sort of a metallic and floral theme to her.
According to an official post by VALORANT on Twitter, they shared a video confirming an in-game line from Vyse as a female character. Vyse is supposedly some sort of an alien-inspired agent according to leaks and teases in-game from the player cards as shown above. However, her abilities are not confirmed as of yet but will be revealed later this week. But from what we have seen, her abilities have some sort of dark matter and floral theme where she can mind control them like an alien.
Also, it makes total sense for Vyse to be a Sentinel as there has been a shortage of Sentinel in the game. There are currently only 5 Sentinels as of now which are the following.
With the addition of Vyse to the roaster, it will make Sentinel’s role in number even to Controller role. Vyse’s official reveal and deep dive into her abilities will be taking place at Champions Seoul on Sunday, August 25.
Vyse’s Back Story
According to the speculations and the newest Vyse leak where we can hear her voice. She says “Little bird wander too far from it’s nest”. If you guys love lore like myself, here’s what you guys need to know. We have known previously about this agent 26 from Jett’s voicemail as well. In Jett’s voicemail, she says that she’s tracking down a new agent because she’s causing a lot of destruction but with the new leak, the new agent has probably caught on to Jett and calling her out and now chasing Jett back into her hometown Korea. A recent video also shows Jett’s home in Korea infected with some kind of metallic vines.
Vyse is going to be the first agent arriving in the game after VCT Masters Madrid. Vyse will be available for buy for 1,000 VP for the first month of launch or you can play matches and accumulate a total of 200,000 XP in 28 days to unlock the new agent.
