VCT Ascension Pacific 2024 is coming up live on September 20, 2024, following VCT Seoul Championship 2024. VCT Ascension Pacific will feature the top ten teams from the Valorant Challengers series.
Also, VCT Ascension will be played on the newest patch 9.05 for Episode 9 Act 2. We will be seeing Vyse in action in VCT Ascension. The Series will feature a double-elimination bracket and winners will get a cash prize and a spot at VCT Pacific League 2025.

VCT Ascension Pacific 2024 Venue and Date
The tournament will be played in Britama Arena in Jakarta, Indonesia. VCT Ascension starts on September 20, 2024, and will run through September 29, 2024. VCT Ascension was originally supposed to be held in Tokyo, Japan but Valorant moved locations and officially moving the series to Jakarta, Indonesia. Valorant also added in an official Statement “ “due to a number of significant event production delays and tournament quality concerns that have arisen during our planning in Tokyo.”
Valorant Esports also shared the sad news “Unfortunately, we were not able to land on a satisfactory solution in Tokyo to deliver an event of the quality we want. Going forward with the current plan would have forced us to make compromises to the overall quality and accessibility for our fans across APAC. We were facing limited broadcast options, restricted format changes and potentially difficult competitive conditions for our teams. With all these factors in mind, we chose to pivot our location and produce the event elsewhere.
We are confident that this change will allow us to host the best possible Ascension Pacific for everyone, including high quality broadcast, an improved format, and the opportunity to watch matches live at an affordable price.”
There will be double-elimination brackets and all matches will be played in the best-of-3 series. However, the lower bracket Finals and the Grand Finals will feature a best-of-5 match series.
