Valorant has finally introduced its long-awaited new map called Corrode. It was revealed during VCT Masters Toronto Grand Finals on Sunday, June 22. Corrode is the 12th map in Valorant, the last map Abyss was released last year in June. Map Rotations are also coming with Act 4 and Bind is coming back after a very long time.
Valorant is set to launch Corrode with Season 2025 Act 4. New map will bring new ways to play, gameplay changes and new meta in competitive queues. For the first time in Valorant, Corrode will be available day-one in competitive queues but with a reduced RR penalty. Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 Schedule
The VALORANT Esports World Cup 2025 will run from July 8 to July 13, and the best sixteen teams are battling for a prize pool of $1,250,000. There is a total of sixteen teams split in four groups of four teams each. Two of the best teams from each group will move forward to the playoffs and towards the prize pool.

Group A
Here are the teams in Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 Group A:
- G2 Esports (Americas)
- Bilibili Gaming (China)
- Paper Rex (Pacific)
- Karmine Corp (EMEA)
Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 Group A is the top group as it includes the top 4 Masters Toronto teams, including both Paper Rex and G2 Esports. While, Paper Rex were crowned champions with a 3-1 victory over Fnatic. Moreover, the Chinese squad Bilibili Gaming is also in Group A, which makes the competition tougher in this group.
Group B
Here are the teams in Valorant Esports World Cup 2025 Group B:
- XLG Esports (China)
- Sentinels (Americas)
- BBL Esports (EMEA)
- DRX (Pacific)
For Group B it includes one of the fan favorite teams Sentinels which are one of the best NA teams in the world. They placed second in VCT 2025 Stage 1 and finished in Top 6 in Masters Toronto. And they have faced and won against XLG Esports and now will face off in Riyadh once again.

Group C

- NRG (Americas)
- Titan Esports Club (China)
Group C for EWC 2025 is one of the most ranged group in the league. It includes Rex Regum Qeon, Team Heretics, NRG and Titan Esports. However, NRG and Titan are fairly new to the international Valorant season but Team Heretics is fan favorite in this group. Team Heretics were one of the top performers for EMEA in 2024.
Group D
Here are the teams that shape Valorant’s Esports World Cup 2025 Group D:

- Gen.G Esports (Pacific)
- EDward Gaming (China)
- 100 Thieves (Americas)
Group D includes the current champions of EWC EDward Gaming. This is a highly competitive group including Masters Toronto grand finalist Fnatic and Masters Shanghai champions Gen.G Esports. And both these teams will be going head off in the playoffs. However, EDward Gaming is one of the fan favorites and team to look at for performance in this group.
