Valorant Game Changers EMEA has been having a great 2024, Stage 1 was concluded in March, and Stage 2 in June. Surprisingly, it was G2 Gozen defeating Team Falcons Vega 3-0 in the Grand Finals. Game Changers is definitely doing its job greatly of finding the talent in the Valorant universe and with G2 Gozen recently competing in the Challengers DACH promotion tournament, this is certainly progression.

Valorant Game Changers EMEA: Stage 3 Grand Finals Location
With Game Changers EMEA: Stage 3 set to start in September, Valorant recently announced that on Sunday, October 6 they will be hosting the Stage 3 Grand Finals at ESA Arena in Istanbul, Türkiye. It’s so good to be at ESA as the Arena is a great viewing experience for the fans. The top four teams from two groups will be qualifying for the Playoffs to compete in competitive gameplay. There will be a double elimination bracket and those will be played online. The Upper Bracket will have three rounds in order to get into the Grand Final and the Lower Bracket will have four rounds to reach into the Grand Finals.
Also, the Upper Bracket Final will be a best-of-three while the Lower Bracket will be a best-of-five match. Leading to the Grand Finals which will also be a best-of-five. All of the Stage 3 matches will be streamed on Twitch.
New VCT OFF//SEASON Spotlight Series – A new mixed tournament
Secondly, we have a brand new type of tournament announcement from Riot called VCT OFF//SEASON Spotlight Series. This will be a mixed-gender tournament and will be placed online starting from October 10 to October 16. The Grand Finals for this tournament will be taking place at the gamer’s favorite convention at Paris Games Week on October 24.
Paris Games Week is Europe’s one of the biggest gaming events and has been taking place since 2010. The Grand Finals stage will have a capacity of 2000 fans to watch the new mixed tournament in action. Also, this is an invitational tournament. The teams participating in this tournament will be required to have at least two players from Game Changers in their team following other teammates whether they want to choose men or women in their team. The total prize for the VCT OFF//SEASON Spotlight Series will be 30,000 Euros.
Playoffs in VCT OFF//SEASON Spotlight Series
This mixed tournament will also have a double elimination bracket. Twelve teams will be competing through the Upper and Lower brackets. The Upper Bracket will consist of four rounds and the Lower Bracket will consist of six rounds. The invited teams are still to be decided and will be announced by Valorant on social media close to the start of the tournament.
