Valorant’s Act 4 Map Rotation: Bind is returning along with a New Map

Riot Games has shared on X regarding competitive map rotations for Valorant Season 25 Act 4. Pearl and Split will be rotating out, and Bind will return along with a Brand new map. The new map for Valorant is set to be revealed on June 22 during Masters Toronto.

Valorant Season 25 Act 4 is set to start on June 24, 2025, based on Patch 11.00. The new map is rumored to be called “Bastion”. This is going to be a big update for Valorant. As last map added to the game was over a year ago in June 2025, Abyss. Abyss was introduced in Patch 8.11. Abyss is also set to return in the competitive queue with Act 4.

Valorant Act 4 Map Rotation

Since the new RR system and new map are being released, there will be a lesser RR decrease in case of losses. During the first two weeks of Act 4, players will lose half RR when there is a defeat in competitive matches. This is a cool feature and will bring more competitive advantage in the game. As a new map can be hard for everyone and this strategy by Riot Games will help decrease the RR damage. Players will be able to adapt to their pace within 2 weeks of time.

This allows them to learning map sites, callouts, lineups, and more, which are very much needed in competitive matches.

First reveal for the new map, which is based in France, is set to reveal on June 22 during the Masters Toronto during an influencers showdown match. Bind was removed in Patch 10.00 and it has been a long time, but it’s finally returning in competitive queues with Act 4.

Abyss Map Valorant

Abyss was one of the most dodged and hated maps in Valorant but it’s coming back as well. However, fans are asking a lot about Breeze’s return to the game. Breeze has also been out of map rotation since June 2024.

Valorant has introduced new Ranked Shield system in competitive queues to ensure players from dropping ranks in Patch 10.01. This new Rank Shield System makes sure players having a bad game doesn’t lose their rank. The new system offer three Shield that helps players from dropping down in ranks. Moreover, patch 10.01 includes changes to new Agent Tejo and minor bug fixes.

Despite Abyss being back, players have a harsh way towards it. As most players think the map is too big and which makes it bad for a competitive map. And rotations are very slow. It’s a 3 hold map with left, right, and mid lane. However, it can be great to see fresh maps in the competitive queue, which offers more unique possibilities in gameplay.

Riot Games has officially announced Valorant Mobile and the pre-registration for the mobile version also announced at Tencent Spark 2025. The game has been in development for four years. Riot Games has also partnered with LightSpeed Studios which will be developing Valorant Mobile. They have previously developed titles like PUBG Mobile. Valorant Mobile will be the first launch in China, and others will follow.

For Act 4 competitive map rotations, focused maps are Bind, New Map and Abyss’s return. While Pearl and Split will be rotating out. The Patch 11.00 update will go live on June 24, 2025. There will be a downtime for the patch, and it can also come on June 25, 2025, depending on your region where you’re playing.
