Halloween is just around the corner and Ubisoft has recently announced and released its beloved Halloween Event for Rainbow Six Siege, Doktor’s Curse. Doktor’s Curse has been the primary event for the Halloween season in Rainbow Six Siege for the past five years, initially taking place in October 2019. Now, for the fifth year, the plans are the same, but there are some new additions to the infamous Hide and Seek game mode for the event.
Doctor’s Curse Event introduces the brand-new Memento skin. The Halloween Event will be playable till November 6, 2024. Doctor’s Curse skins are worth the wait. This year the event includes 40 different skins. However, only 33 are included in the Doctor’s Curse packs. While remaining six skins can be unlocked by completing the challenges and watching streams.

Doctor’s Curse Memento Skin
Doctor’s Curse Memento Skin is for Buck’s C8-SFW. Memento Skin has a dark design and includes black, grey, and red shading with a skull. Inspired totally by the Halloween event. It is a legendary skin and also has 3D animation.
The Memento Skin from Doctor’s Curse is also part of the Nosferatu collection. However, it is not a universal skin and can only be equipped on Buck’s primary weapon. Also, to get this skin you will need to buy it via Renowns or R6 Credits.
What is Memento Skin in Rainbow Six Siege?
Ubisoft unveiled a new type of skin called Memento. These are extremely difficult to get as they can only be claimed after previously unlocking all of the cosmetics included in the game mode.
The introduction of the Memento weapon skin saw the release of “recolored” cosmetics. In other words, Ubisoft decided to recolor skins that had first been released in previous editions of the game mode, forcing those players who already had the cosmetics to re-purchase them to unlock the Memento skin.
An explanation for the introduction of recolored skins is Ubisoft’s Marketplace: if skins from previous editions were eligible to claim the Memento skin, players could try to sell them for a higher price in the Marketplace.
To have an idea of how much that’s in real money, you must know that players can purchase 7,560 R6 Credits for US$49,90. Therefore, Doktor’s Curse Memento skin is worth around US$70 for non-premium battle pass holders and US$60 for premium battle pass holders.
How to get Doctor’s Curse Memento Skin?
Here is everything you need to do to get Doctor’s Curse Memento Skin.
- Buy all the 33 Doctor’s Curse Event Packs.
- If you don’t own the battle pass in R6, you will need to spend 396,000 Renowns or 9,900 R6 Credits. Otherwise, if you own the battle pass you must spend 371,250 Renowns or 8,910 R6 Credits.
R6 Credits are only available to purchase for real money. 9,900 R6 Credits will cost around 70 USD. So, you will need 70 USD if you don’t own the battle pass and 60 USD if you own it, to get the Doctor’s Curse Memento Skin.
