Halloween is just around the corner and Ubisoft has recently announced and released its beloved Halloween Event for Rainbow Six Siege, Doktor’s Curse. Doktor’s Curse has been the primary event for the Halloween season in Rainbow Six Siege for the past five years, initially taking place in October 2019. Now, for the fifth year, the plans are the same, but there are some new additions to the infamous Hide and Seek game mode for the event.

Doktor’s Curse Event in Rainbow Six Siege – Release & End-Date
The Doktor’s Curse is a returning event to Rainbow Six Siege for the Halloween Season. It was released on October 16, 2024, and will stay live until November 6, 2024. R6 also has the new OSA elite available in-game store for purchase. During the event’s availability, players can access the exclusive new game mode in the playlist and earn new cosmetics. However, once the event ends, all the new content and the exclusive cosmetics will be removed so get them while you can.

Hide and Seek Game Mode
The Doktor’s Curse event brings a new mode that plays out as a hide-and-seek game with two sides, one being the Hunters (Seekers) and the other one being the Monsters (Hiders). Specifying these sides with R6 composition, Hunters are Attackers and the Monsters are Defenders. This time new rosters have been added to both sides with their own exclusive skins. Deimos and Zofia join the Hunters and Fenrir joins the Monsters side.
The Doktor’s Curse match takes place in a nighttime Frankenstein’s Castle version of the Theme Park map. The premise of the event match is simple, Hunters need to hunt down Monsters and Monsters need to survive until the time runs out or they can strike down all Hunters. The equipment for Hunters is only a Hammer with one of many tracking gadgets that they can use to locate any hiding Monsters. On the other side, Monsters can deploy traps and use the Nightstride ability to move quickly and become invisible for a short time.
Rewards & Exclusive Cosmetics for Doktor’s Curse Event
There are numerous rewards and cosmetics that players can earn by participating in the Doktor’s Curse Event of Rainbow Six Siege. Starting with a Free Event Pack that every player will receive as they log in and launch the game during the course of the event. The event pack has a chance to grant any exclusive item from the Doktor’s Curse Collection. There are new bundles for Deimos, Zofia, and Fenrir that players can purchase, and even earn a full Doktor’s Curse bundle for Kapkan by completing the Ubisoft Connect Challenges.
Moreover, the Collection contains a variety of uniforms, headgear, and weapon skins that players can acquire by opening a pack. Each Collection Pack costs 12,500 Renown or 300 R6 Credits. Furthermore, there are four new variant skins including Aruni, Frost, Jackal, and Lesion. If players acquire all three new operator bundles and the four variant skins before the event ends, they will receive a special Memento weapon skin for Buck’s C8-SFW assault rifle.
