Marvel Rivals has revealed a new trailer for Season 2 Battle Pass showcasing 10 new costume skins for heroes. Season 2 Hellfire Gala will begin on April 11, 2025 with a new hero Emma Frost. In order to unlock all 10 hero skins players will have to complete the battle pass.

Ranked Mode Level Requirement Increased in Marvel Rivals Season 2
NetEase has changed the level requirement needed to play Ranked mode in Marvel Rivals. Instead of level 10 players will now require level 15 in order to queue for competitive matches. This will help players to queue according to their levels, helping players have better Ranked matches. Under leveled players will be placed in queue with similar other players to help maintain the quality of the match.
Hero Pick and Ban system in Marvel Rivals Season 2
Marvel Rivals Season 2 is introducing a new hero pick and ban system which will enable from Gold 3 rank. As before it was only available from Diamond rank, now it will be available from Gold rank. This was one of the most requested feature by players and NetEase has finally fixed this issue and players can jump in grinding for their ranks.
Duo queues only for High rank players
With Marvel Rivals Season 2 all high rank players from Eternity and above will only be able to play ranked till duo. This is irrespective of the rank and this will help with competitive matches. It can be a pain playing against a whole team of Smurfs. This will ensure the matches are balanced.
Rank Reset in Marvel Rivals Season 2
Players will need to grind for their ranks one more time starting with the new season. Rank Reset will help Marvel Rivals to place players in their actual rankings. And players will help to grind back from a lower rank and climb the ladder by winning more matches.
