Mell will be released on Jan. 23, 2025, in League. This corresponds to patch 25.S1.2 based on LoL’s patch schedule. This will be the second update of this year. Mel is a mage, and we expect her to have a strong start in the mid-lane, which is often the case with new champion releases.

    • Mel starts firing projectiles upon casting. These explode around the targeted area and damage the enemies in the parameters.
  • W — Rebuttal
    • Mel casts a barrier that sends enemy projectiles back to their sources. This allows her to prevent incoming damage while also getting movement speed in the process.
  • E — Solar Snare
    • Mel casts a radiant orb that roots enemies in its center. The remaining areas slow enemies while dealing damage over time.
  • R — Golden Eclipse
    • Mel deals damage on enemies affected by Overwhelms without distance limitations. The damage dealt to these enemies is based on the amount of Overwhelm stacks they have.
