Battlefield is the only direct competitor of Call of Duty, and it is there for good reasons because, unlike Activision, where they release a new game every year without having second thoughts about whether they should or not, EA actually takes a little more time about Battlefield titles and only releases these games where there’s a need or demand for it. Apart from the last iteration of the game, the Battlefield IP has been a successful IP since the first game, which was released in 2002.

In this blog, we are going to talk about the game’s first disastrous release and how EA is trying to compensate for it. Because in this blow we are going to talk about an event that includes both games of the series. The road to battle battlefield is an event in Battlefield 2042, which will have Battlefield 6 event rewards, and we are going to discuss that at length in this blog.

What’s the event?
As you might already know, Battlefield 2042 was poorly received by the fans due to it being an unoptimized mess as well as nearly unplayable for almost half of the fanbase of game. Now to compensate for that huge loss which kind of tainted the whole series’s name, EA has decided to host an event in battlefield 2042 in which they will be awarding the players rewards, like cometics, in-game titles and whatnot. The event started on August 18th and it is going to finish on October 7th, just a few days before the release of Battlefield 6, which is said to be on October 10th.
