The Internation 2024 is about to set upon us throughout September 2024. TI13 is going to be held in Copenhagen, Denmark. This is the 13th iteration of the Dota 2 The International and world’s top 16 teams will be competing for a million-dollar prize pool.

What is the prize pool for Dota 2 The International 2024?
Valve has put a base prize pool of 1.6 million USD for TI 2024. An additional amount would be contributed by purchases of TI 2024’s Compendium, which will be 25 percent of total purchases of Compendium. Currently, the total prize pool of TI13 is 2.3 million USD which is a record set for the lowest even after contributed by fans all over the world.
Other Dota 2 TI 2024 products such as Merch and other TI items will add 25 percent contribution to the prize pool. The Dota 2 community has contributed less than half of the amount that Valve has placed in the tournament. MMR balance and rank however are getting a boost in terms of players competing in-game, be sure to team up with a pro player to reach a higher MMR.
The prize pool this year is relatively lower about more than a Million USD compared to last year’s TI12 which was 3.4 million USD in terms of prize pool for Dota 2 The International.
Valve makes TI 2024 AD free
Valve recently went to announce the state of the streaming for their biggest event and they shocked everyone by announcing that none of the teams competing can advertise their sponsors in the game. This means there will be no sponsor names in Dota 2’s interface which will include team flags, banners, and logos.
Esports organizations have been madding about this choice from Valve and they are bashing Dota 2 for being a ‘dead game’.
Dota 2 patch 7.37c in time for TI 2024
Valve has revealed a new patch 7.37c for Dota 2 for teams and players to get ready for TI 2024. The new patch just released 5 days before TI is set to start. The patch 7.37c will mainly deliver adjustment to 7 items and a whopping 39 heroes. Mostly, there are buffs and nerfs to heroes to make the game balance for TI 2024.
The biggest buffs added in the new patch are Zeus and Anti-Mage. While the biggest nerfs to heroes consist of Omniknight, Sven, and Tinker. This patch, however, is a great step by Valve to maintain the current state of Dota 2 for TI 2024.
