Hello, my name is Warren and I am working as a Dota 2 booster at Immortalboost. Today I will briefly explain my most played hero in this patch mostly at support which is Nature’s prophet. I have been spamming this hero in 9000 MMR which as a result grants me an 80-90% win rate. By following this guide and the play style you will understand how to win lane, harras, and gank on enemies. You can play this hero in any role according to the game demands but it is a perfect fit in a support role.
Introduction
Nature’s Prophet is a versatile hero who can be played in any lane or any role. He is considered one of the most annoying heroes because he can teleport anywhere on the map whether he wants to push or gank. The best part is Nature’s Prophet can kill couriers while delivering items to the enemies or even in the base if a courier is standing outside the enemy’s fountain. A successful game can turn support nature into sem-carry nature easily once he starts stomping down the enemies.
Tip: Wisdom runes spawn at minute 7, look to steal enemy runes with teleport as it gives you a lot of experience.

Item Build & Skill Build
According to the current patch 7.35d, this is the skill build you should make.
Skill Build
- Always start with the first ability which is Sprout.
- Use Sprout on enemies to harras them in the lane,
- Further, upgrade the skill according to the following sequence (3,5,7)
Tip: Save yourself or an ally by placing Sprout strategically also Sprout can push you up or down the cliff if used on point.
Note: Sprout provides vision in the area and can be useful to scout cliffs for the wards or Roshan
- Teleportation should be taken on level 2 which allows you to Teleport anywhere on the map.
- You can use it to find opportunities for killing enemies or use it to go back to the base and heal up.
- Further, you can upgrade the Teleportation according to the following sequence (4,8,9)
- Nature’s Call should be taken later on Level 11, once you have maxed out the 1st skill and 2nd skill, this skill grants nature Treant’s which allows nature to push the lanes.
- The reason behind taking this skill later is because the play style of nature in this patch should keep on joining the fights and ganking at an early stage.
- You can upgrade this ability according to the following sequence (13,14,16)
Tip: You can also use Treant’s to defend yourself against Pudge’s Hook or Mirana Arrow
- Wrath of Nature is used to farm creeps or to kill enemies. It’s a global ability that hits most of the creeps and enemies in the vision
- Make sure not to use this ability when you have Observer Ward deep into their jungle or near ancient camps else the enemy team will identify and your Observer Ward will be de-warded.
- Always level up to this ability whenever it is up on level 6, level 12, level 18
Tip: Linken’s Sphere can be triggered with this ability from this you can take advantage with a kill or assist.
Note: Always buy Aghanim’s Scepter on Nature’s Prophet which Roots the targets when Wrath of Nature ability is used.
Tip: Purchase Aghanim Shard which provides Nature’s Prophet a new ability “Curse of the Old Growth” Upon using it in the fights will make the enemy hero reveal from the fog, it counters heroes like Monkey King, Treant Protector, Hoodwink as they almost hiding into the trees.

Early gameplay / Mid game / Late game
Early gameplay (0:00 – 12:00)
In the early game phase you have to pressurize the lane with your Sprout ability as Nature’s Prophet has 620 attack range which allows him to attack the supports without getting countered attack, you have to force them to buy Quelling Blade or many tangoes as Sprouts have a low cooldown and consumes low mana as well, the fun part is Tango only let them get out from the sprout but no heals. Try looking in the other lanes so if there’s a kill opportunity you have to get it and focus on the heroes that do not have Quelling Blade or a tango.
Mid gameplay (12:00 – 25:00)
In the mid-game your main objective is to get Orchid Malevolence and Spirit vessel and look after the killing enemy supports or cores with the help of your team or if you are sure enough you can go for a solo kill on a weak support. Core heroes like Ember Spirit, Storm Spirit, and Queen of Pain can get countered easily with Orchid Malevolence. look after the lanes to keep them pushing or taking down the towers where necessary.
Late gameplay (25:00 – 60:00)
In the late game, you should be aware not to get caught while pushing. as enemies will kill you first for playing a pushing strat, you have to make synergy with your team as you have your Aghanim’s Scepter. heroes like Invoker with Catalysm, Magnus with Reverse Polarity, Enigmas Blackhole, Mars Arena, etc can be a perfect fit, and some of your items like Scythe of Vyse, and Glapnier with a talent of Sprout Leaches can rekt down enemies easily and can win you the game. All you need is to use your items and abilities on point to make it win. Nature’s Prophet is one of the best and the strongest support in Dota 2 which can easily scale pretty well from early game to late game.
Counters of Nature’s Prophet (NP)
Spirit Breaker
- Spirit Breaker can counter Nature’s Propher easily by using Charge of the Darkness and can easily catch him.

Phantom Assassin
- Phantom Assassin can counter Nature’s Prophet easily by using her Blur and when she finds an opportunity she can burst you down before even reacting.

Ember Spirit
- Ember Spirit with Fire Remnant and Boots of Travel can be very active around the map, which enables him to quickly teleport and defend the towers when Nature’s Prophet is attacking or tries to push the lane.
Faceless Void
- Faceless Void can attack and kill him within the Chronosphere when Nature’s Prophet tries to escape with this Teleportation.
Nyx Assassin
- With his ability Vendetta Nyx Assassin can easily hunt down and kill Nature’s Prophet.
Spectre
- Shadow Step’s low cooldown allows Spectre to teleport to him whenever he decides to push
Storm Spirit
- Ball Lightning can be used to clear Nature’s Prophet Treants and easily destroy Sprout.
- Electric Vortex prevents Nature’s Prophet from escaping while using Teleportation.
Bounty Hunter
- With the help of Shadow Walk and Track Bounty Hunter can hunt Nature’s Prophet easily.
Riki
- Thanks to his Cloak And Dagger ability Riki stays invisible and can hunt down Nature’s Prophet preventing him from escaping using his Smoke Screen.
Clinkz
- Skeleton Walk allows him to kill Nature’s Prophet easily as this hero always gets his Orchid Malevolence before starting to join fights. This hero is a nightmare for NP
