What’s the leak?
So firstly, how do we know if it is even a leak or just a rumour? So let’s talk about it then we talk about the proof, and then we might also talk about the hero itself because there’s not much info about him at this given moment.
So, firstly, some players have reported that they found the bard frog’s data strings in Dota’s testing server. Now you might say that’s a coincidence, and Valve can upload a lot of things into their game’s backfiles without actually committing to it.
But what’s happening here is a little different because this leak is not coming from the actual game files but rather from Valve’s testing server. They only upload things there to test before actually pushing it to the game, which means that if they upload something to their test server, then it is only a matter of time before it reaches the game.

What to expect from Bardfrog:
Now, with that said, there is still little information about this new hero because he is on the experimental server, which means while it is for sure coming, the exact date is still unknown. But since the TI 14 has just ended. Bard frog could be the next hero release for the post-TI update. The abilities of Bardfrog are unknown, but taking it from the leaked code, it is indicated that they are centered around the invoker, Kez, and Ringmaster’s skill panel.
Conclusion:
Now we are at the end of this blog, and one thing is confirmed that a new hero is coming to the game as well, and the name of that hero is going to be the “bard frog.” Now, apart from these two things, a lot can’t be said about it. Because we don’t have a shred of evidence about the skill set of the hero or the role he is going to play.
