Destiny 2: Rite of the Nine mode Release date, rewards and more

Bungie has introduced what’s new to Destiny 2 during the Heresy Act 2 livestream. With the episode Heresy coming to an end this April, devs has introduced a new game mode in dungeons called Rite of the Nine. We got you covered with everything in new game mode. Destiny 2 Rite of The Nine

Rite of the Nine is a limited time game mode in Destiny 2 Episode Heresy Act 2. It brings new difficulty modes to three dungeons, Prophecy, Spire of the Watcher and Ghosts of the Deep. These dungeons will have a weekly rotations where players can jump in to grind and get exclusive loot.

There will be multiple modes in these old dungeons. Like Explorer mode is good for casual players who are new Destiny 2 dungeons and can learn their way up. Morever, Eternity mode will boost up the difficulty. And finally the Ultimatum mode gives new loot and is good for hardcore Destiny 2 players. And dungeons are tougher in Ultimatum mode. Getting as much point as you can can help you get more loots in Rite of the Nine.

Slayer’s Fang is a new Exotic Shotgun in Destiny 2 added with Revenant Act III. Revenant Act 3 will be released on January 7 with the weekly reset, per Destiny 2’s in-game schedule for the season, and run until February 4, 2025, when it will end and be replaced with Episode Heresy. Moreover, the Weekly reset takes place at 9 AM PT, 5 PM GMT, and noon EST.

According to devs, “This event is going to offer something for lower-skill folks who want to start getting into some endgame content, and it’s going to offer some things of higher difficulty,” There will be new quest and rewards with weekly dungeons.

Destiny 2 Rite of the Nine Release Date

Rite of the Nine is set to come with the Episode Heresy Act 3. Act 3 for Episode Heresy launches April 1st, 2025. The weekly dungeon rotation will start with the launch of the new Act. More rewards include five new emblems and a title for Rite of the Nine game mode.

Destiny 2 has added a new sidearm Tinasha’s Mastery, which equips a Rocket-powered pistol and Stasis element. It’s the first weapon from this archetype to have a Stasis element.
