How to Get Gajallarhorn Catalyst in Destiny 2
To get the Gajallarhorn Catalyst, players will have to first get the Gajallarhorn Exotic Weapon itself and then go into the Grasp of Avarice dungeon to loot three special hidden chests while afflicted with the “Burdened by Riches” effect.
How to Get Gajallarhorn Exotic Weapon
For the Gajallarhorn Exotic Weapon, players will have to buy the 30th Anniversary Pack for $24.99 which will give players an Exotic quest called “And Out Fly the Wolves”. Players will have to complete the Exotic quest in which they will have to complete the Grasp of Avarice dungeon to find a Wolfpack Round and finish the reconstruction of the Rocket Launcher. Once the quest has been completed, you will be rewarded with the Gajallarhorn Exotic Weapon.
Gajallhorn Catalyst
Now, to get the Gajallarhorn Catalyst, you will have to revisit the Grasp of Avarice dungeon but this time, you need to be focused on finding Reaver Vandal enemies, Special Enemies with Yellow Health Bar. There are three Reaver Vandal enemies in total which are scattered throughout the dungeon. You need to encounter these enemies and deal damage to them until they drop the Engram. By picking up the Engram, you will be inflicted with the Burdened of Riches effect which lasts for 30 seconds. During these 30 seconds, you need to open the nearby hidden special chest to loot its fragments.
The Reaver Vandal Enemies and Special Chests can be found located at the following locations throughout the dungeon.
- 1st Reaver Vandal Enemy: Spawn on a ledge in the first cave area of the dungeon. Go ahead from the crystal bridge and you will see him on a ledge on the right side.
- 1st Chest: After picking up the Engram from the 1st Reaver Vandal Enemy, jump back to the Crystal Bridge and go back to find a chest placed on top of a metallic structure.
- 2nd Reaver Vandal Enemy: Spawn in the ventilation room from where you make your way to the first ogre boss of the dungeon.
- 2nd Chest: Pick up the Engram and make your way through the vents. As you reach outside of the vents, jump to the platform on the right to find the chest.
- 3rd Reaver Vandal Enemy: Spawn near the Waterfall area by the Central Island. Engage with the 3rd and final Reaver Vandal after the Fallen Shield encounter.
- 3rd Chest: The chest is located on top of the huts/buildings in the Central Island. After picking up the Engram, activate the shield to go down to the central island and make your way up to the hut to find the chest.
Looting the final chest will reward you with the Gajallarhorn Catalyst.

The Gajallarhorn Catalyst has the following effects on the Gajallarhorn Exotic Weapon.
- More Wolves perk: The More Wolves perk increases the magazine size by 1 rocket. Final blows with Wolfpack Rounds spawn a faster and more powerful missile at the target’s location.
Before you get the effects of the Catalyst, you will have to eliminate 400 enemies in total with the Gajallarhorn Exotic Weapon. There are several ways to eliminate enemies quickly and it is best that you keep it in your Exotic Weapon slot and use it on every enemy encounter until you have unlocked the full effects of Gajallarhorn Catalyst.
