Battlefield 6 Classes Guide: Everything You Need to Know About Each Role

The reason why competitive games have different roles for different players has a lot of reasons. The first is that they are tough, so when you can delegate one specific role to someone, it makes it easier for them to understand and deliver on it as opposed to doing everything by themselves. It narrows down the scope of things to do, which in turn makes the team more reliant on each other and makes it a lot stronger. It also allows players to shine at things that they are good at and generally want to do.

If a player has a good aim and reaction time, they’ll do the best as the first contact with the enemy team or as an aggressor, while a player who has a mediocre aim but is well-versed in game sense, being a medic or healer, would be the best role for them. Continuing the premise in this blog, we are going to talk about Battlefield 6 and its classes.

In this blog, we’re going to break down the Battlefield 6 classes and explain how each role works. And if you’re looking to speed up your progress or refine your skills further, BF 6 boosting can be a great way to experience advanced gameplay strategies firsthand, while learning how each class contributes to the bigger picture.

Battlefield 6 Classes:

So there are four classes in the game, each class has a different role in the team. Each class has a different signature gadget, traits, and skills with a specific weapon. So here’s the list of the classes in the game. Their title, role, and their class’s overview.

Assault:

The assault class is generally the aggressive player who has a good aim and is bound to have enough courage to go out and take some kills to make the enemy team a little fearful. It can also provide a lot of dumb fun; it might be considered that assault is Battlefield 6’s best class for beginners

  • Weapon: the signature weapon for an assault class is the assault rifle or a shotgun, since they are the aggressive kind, these two are the perfect fit for the role.
  • Gadget: Their gadget is the adrenaline injector, and it helps out a lot in the game because it quickly regenerates health as well as temporarily buffs the sprint, resistance against explosives, debuffs, and also increases the hearing capability of footsteps.
  • Active ability:  assault class players can reveal the nearby enemies, which extends if they kill an enemy nearby during the effect of the ability.
  • Trait: The signature trait for the assault class is the soft landing, which allows the player to have reduced fall damage as well as no movement debuff after falling.

Engineer:

The engineer class is more of a workhorse in the team because, well, it performs an engineer’s duty in the team. It fixes and repairs the team’s vehicles while also wrecking the enemy team’s vehicles with explosives and whatnot.

  • Weapon: The engineer class has an SMG as their signature weapon because they mostly get close or mid-range fights, and this provides the best and most accurate results out of most weapons.
  • Gadget: their gadget is a blowtorch, which is the main method in the game to repair vehicles, and it is also the equipment for destroying or at least damaging the enemies. Although it has an infinite amount of usage, it gets overheated. So keep that in mind.
  • Active ability: the active ability of the engineers is also the one that is engraved in their role, and that is their overloaded blowtorch, which allows them to repair vehicles a lot faster than they would normally.
  • Trait:  their role trait is the flak jacket, which lets them take less damage from explosives than other classes.

Recon:

The recon class is the snipers of the team, and they are mostly used to spot enemies for the whole squad, as well as give their team backup when needed. It is a patient role, but it also rewards you pretty well if you know which vantage point to take and how to spot and kill instantly.

  • Weapon: The weapon of choice for a recon class is the sniper because it allows them to take enemies from far away while also keeping themselves out of trouble.
  • Gadget: The Recon’s class gadget is the motion sensor, which allows them to see the moving enemies that are in the surrounding areas.
  • Trait: their class trait is the auto spot, which means that when they aim down the sight, they will automatically pin an enemy if they have a visual on them, even if they don’t know what they have seen.
  • Ability: the active ability a recon has is that they can summon a UAV that marks the enemies within a certain area for a limited time.

Support:

The last class on the list is medic, and while a lot of players downplay the role, in my opinion, a medic or a support is the backbone of any team because they are the team player through and through, and they elevate everybody on their side while keeping themselves out of the limelight. So it is indeed a selfless role.

  • Weapon: The weapon for this class is an LMG, and the good part about that is that you can still sprint while holding it.
  • Gadget: their signature gadget is a supply bag, which consists of a deployable item, and it includes ammo, and it also regenerates the passive health.
  • Trait: the trait is quick revive, also, a support player drags their allies faster than a non-support player would normally.
  • Ability: increases the supply of the area of effect around you, and it also increases the speed of revival.

Conclusion:

Each class in the game is for a different kind of player. For beginners, it could be the assault class because you can be dumb in it without hurting your team that much. For more experienced players, other classes would be way more potent and helpful for your team. But a class is just a set of traits; while it does help out, it is not the entire picture.
