Maps play a big part in every game because they contain everything we perceive about the game. A game is only as good and enjoyable as its map. It does not matter how good the game feels if the map you play is congested or sluggish; on the other hand, some less-than-polished features of gameplay can be overlooked, if the map is beautiful and has a layout that makes the game enjoyable to play.

Early Game Arenas:

The first on the list are your early game arenas, these arenas range from 0 trophies and go all the way to 1600 trophies. In their journey they get cards, chests, and different kinds of rewards. These arenas are there for you to learn the basic mechanics of the game, as well as to make you a competent but basic player of the game. The names of the arenas are as follows:

  • Arena 1: Goblin Stadium
  • Arena 2: Bone Pit
  • Arena 3: Barbarian Bowl
  • Arena 4: P.E.K.K.A’s Playhouse
  • Arena 5: Spell Valley

Tips:

All you have to do to ace these arenas is to stick with basic and versatile cards like the knight and the musketeer. You also need to learn important spells like arrows and fireballs against the swarms of enemies. You need to make a habit of upgrading on core card to stay relevant in the later stages of the game.

Mid-game Arenas:

The mid-game arenas are there for you to get really into the game. Because now the enemies you will face will no longer make the same big mistakes. You will now have to learn the counterattacks against their decks and build your gameplay. These arenas start from 1625 trophies and go all the way up to 3025 trophies. The names are as listed below:

  • Arena 6: Builder’s Workshop
  • Arena 7: Royal Arena
  • Arena 8: Frozen Peak
  • Arena 9: Jungle Arena
  • Arena 10: Hog Mountain

Tips:

Now you have to pick a main win condition. These are the cards that directly go to the king’s towers according to the Super Cell’s own definition, and for that, you need to pick a good one. Someone like Royal Giant or Hog Rider. Apart from that, you need to learn the counter cards for your enemies, like to counter the area-damaging troops like baby dragon, you need a counter swarm card, like the skeletons, which effectively counters the area damage.

Late Game Arenas:

Now the game just becomes a whole lot more competitive, and most of the time, this is where most players get stuck. While they do not get demoted, they simply win some games and then the other day lose some games, which makes them feel like they are stuck. Here, you’ll have to learn some competitive strategies and some strong and advanced decks to compete. The list of the arenas is as follows: they start from the  3425 trophies and go all the way to 5025 trophies:

  • Arena 11: Electro Valley
  • Arena 12: Spooky Town
  • Arena 13: Rascal’s Hideout
  • Arena 14: Serenity Peak
  • Arena 15: Legendary Arena

Tips:

Master a few cards and start filling your deck with legendary cards. You also have to learn the elixir trades. You have to defend cheaply and counter-push hard. Now, at this stage of the game, you need to start practicing the dual lane pressure to overwhelm the enemy.

End Game Arenas:

Now, at this stage of the game, you are in the top 10% players worldwide, and now the game is a lot more on the mind than the actual skill-based, which means that now not only do you have to adapt to the meta of the game, but you also need to be prepared for the mind games. The arenas here start from the 5525 trophies and end on the 7525 trophies. Now, most of the new arenas do not drop any new cards.

  • Arena 16: Executioner’s Kitchen
  • Arena 17: Royal Crypt
  • Arena 18: Silent Sanctuary
  • Arena 19: Dragon Spa
  • Arena 20: Boot Camp

Tips:

Now, meta awareness is the key to success here. You also need to track the card rotation and act accordingly. If your opponent has used Inferno, then you have to use your tank to push back. Count elixir high-level players punish overcommit instantly. Try to use cheap defense rather than wasting your cards.

Ultimate Arenas:

This is the level that the most dedicated and pro-players play at, and if you manage to get here, then you most certainly don’t need tips or guidance, but since the guide can’t be completed without me giving some advice, I would include a few tips as well. The arena starts from the trophies of 8550, and the last arena unlocks when you reach the 10k mark on the trophy road. And finally, you’ll have Clash Royale’s all arena rewards.

  • Arena 21: Clash Fest
  • Arena 22: PANCAKES!
  • Arena 23: Valkala
  • Arena 22: Legendary Arena

Tips:

Stick to what decks you are comfortable playing because clearly they are working in your favor if you have come this far in the game. Use prediction spells as well as try to make no mistakes because at this stage smallest mistakes can cost you matches. So be patient, play like you’re already doing thus far.

Conclusion:

In this guide, I have given realistic approaches and tips that will help throughout the journey. While this might not be the most in-depth guide but since I aimed to make a guide that everybody could benefit from, this is the one that does that effectively.
