The Crownfall update just dropped, and most of you are wondering how to unlock rewards and complete the Crownfall Act I. You might also be stuck with your Crownfall progression. Candyworks Caravan in Markets of Midgate

The Candyworks Caravan appears with a candy icon that is locked at the start of the progression. You will eventually receive the candies as you progress before reaching the candy point on the path.

The point is close from the beginning. Once you reach that Candyworks Caravan point, you can trade candies with Dota 2 items. Tradeable items come with two choices that you can get with specific candy combinations. If you don’t like the items that are offered in the choices, you can reroll, which you can get from winning matches, and you get ten rerolls per week. Besides that, there are deals mentioned from which your candies can be traded to another type of candies that you are required to trade to get a specific item; remember that the amount of free candy is limited.

Note: The rewards that you get from the candies are not tradeable or marketable

Note: Buying Midgate Pathfinder is worth it to unlock all the sidequests and Vengeful Spirit’s third-style Arcana.

Crownfall Act I Inventory

Crown fall candy

In the Crownfall Event, you can only move around the map after you have earned the required amount of tokens for the mission; there are currently 19 different types of missions, and each mission requires different tokens, and some even require multiple tokens or a mix of tokens. How do you earn these tokens? It’s simple – Play the hero that fits the token description. Each hero has three tokens, and some heroes even have two of the same tokens; if you play regular games and win, you earn three tokens, and if you lose, you gain one of the three tokens at random, but if you play turbo and win, you only gain two tokens and none if you fail, therefore avoid turbo if you want to grind your way through the act.

Potential Rewards Earned

  • 15 x Crownfall Store Coins
  • 41 x Candy Sacks
  • 3 x Crownfall Treasure 1
  • 2 x Crownfall Treasure 2
  • 23 x Emoticons, Sprays, and Loading Screens
  • 3 x Invoker Set Style Unlocks
  • 1 x Riki Immortal Blade
  • 1 x Invoker Mythical Set

Play Turbo Matches

While Turbo Mode is not an exciting way to play Dota, it always helps with completing challenges such as this one. Turbo Mode averages around 20-30 minutes of gameplay, allowing for a faster grind. With Turbo Mode, however, you can only get two out of the three tokens that each hero provides at random if you win and nothing if you lose. In regular games, you get all three tokens for winning and one at random if you lose. The pros and cons are pretty distinct. Nonetheless, Turbo Mode still serves its purpose well in helping you collect Crownfall tokens as quickly as possible.
