WoW The War Within is going strong and with new patches and updates new season is getting Story mode raids. These raids in WoW The War Within allow you to tone down new difficulty Story mode raids. Which will require you less challenge on the final boss of a raid and the battle will not be as hard as a regular battle. You can also check our Halloween event and Fishing in The War Within guide.
This is to help story mode players, who like to play WoW for the story and progress it quickly. This is a great difficulty option for players who do not want to do raids. In the Nerub-ar Palace raid, once you defeat the final boss you will get a cutscene to progress in the story.
However, with the Story Mode raid you will not be required to do the raid. You will get a new quest “defeat Queen Ansurek” in WoW The War Within. We will be going into detail on how to unlock the Story Mode Raids.
How to unlock Story Mode raids in WoW The War Within
It can be hard to figure out how to unlock Story Mode Raids in WoW The War Within. Firstly, you will need to have level 80. Next, you will need to have completed the Level Up Campaign and Level 80 Campaign. However, the Level 80 Campaign quest is longer. It is necessary in order to unlock the Story Mode raids.
You will be required to find the NPC Webster which is a little spider to progress in unlocking the Story Mode Raids. However, there can be different and random locations where Webster can be found. Some players have found Webster in Dornogal. Webster can also be found in the City of Threads in Azj-Kahet.
After finding him, he will give you the quest Our Chance to Strike. You will need to go into the City of Threads main hub. There will be a number of short quests you will need to complete to unlock Story Mode raids.

Complete To Kill a Queen quest
After completing all the previous quests to unlock the Story Mode. Lastly, you will get To Kill a Queen. Which is the main quest “defeat Queen Ansurek”. It is a simple quest you will need to kill the Queen Ansurek. Once, you get the To Kill a Queen quest, you will be able to use Story Mode raids and progress the Story Mode. You are not required to complete the raid and quest. However, if you unlock the raid and beat the final boss it will give you some nice rewards.

Queen Ansurek can also be found on other difficulties available in the WoW The War Within. Once, you are good to go, you will need to go to the City of Threads and Webster will send you to the Queen Ansurek. Now, simply defeat the boss and you can claim your rewards using the Story mode raids difficulty.
