While Agent abilities make up a large part of the game, so does gunplay. The Crosshair makes up a large part of the gunplay and they come in all shapes and sizes. If you want to truly fulfill your potential of aiming then a Crosshair plays a big role in whether you can get those important headshots that can have a huge impact on your team.
Does Crosshair improve your Aim?
Having the right crosshair can make all the difference in the world and help you climb through the ranks faster. When you start valorant, the game gives you a default crosshair that is a big crosshair which may take some getting used to. Nonetheless, many players opt for the dot crosshair or some variation of it as many have found it to have an improved Headshot Kill Ratio when using the dot crosshair.
Borrowing a crosshair
Many players have come across dot crosshairs that they would like to borrow from their teammate and Riot being aware of the practice has rolled out a /cc command which allows you to copy the crosshair and save it to a Crosshair profile. Currently, Riot allows up to 15 unique Crosshair profiles with a single account and players tend to experiment with all the different Crosshairs before settling for the one they are comfortable with most.
Why choose the Dot Crosshair?
The dotted crosshair or its variations have become particularly popular with players because they make your shorts incredibly precise and don’t obstruct your view in any manner. When you want to hit those headshots during your aim duels you want to have pinpoint accuracy, which the dotted crosshair provides giving you an advantage when taking aim duels.

The Hollow Crosshair
If you want a crosshair that allows you to improve your head-tapping skills then I have another great crosshair for you. It is hollow in the center and is just wide enough to fit the enemy head in.

This crosshair will help players from all skill ranges improve their ranks provided you react promptly. It’s one of the best viewing crosshairs out there as no center lines or dots are giving you a very good viewing angle for hitting headshots and winning a large amount of your aim duels.
The Center Dotted Circle Crosshair

This is a unique crosshair that isn’t big nor too small and the center dot greatly increases your accuracy for winning your aim duels.
