Valorant bind map

Location of Bind in the Valo Verse

In the Valo Verse, the Bind Map is a Kingdom Corp facility located in Morocco’s Capital City Rabat. Which is also the hometown of Cypher. According to the Valo Verse Bind is located on Alpha Earth and Kingdom Corp is extracting and refining Radianite in the area in a refinery facility, which has led to quite a lot of backlash from the city natives and they are looking to oppose any Kingdom Corp activity in the area.

Bind Design

Bind is a map that is unique as compared to the other maps in rotation. That is due to the map having no ‘Mid’ area and containing two one-way teleporters on each side instead. One teleport is present outside A short which takes the players to B short, the other teleporter takes the players to A lobby which is located outside B long. Players can use these teleports for quick rotations whether they are on the defense or offense. After Entry, there will be an Audio cue that can be heard throughout the map and it will play for each player that has entered. The doors will open when the players inside pass through them. However, they cannot be opened from the outside, but they are wall bangable allowing the players outside to damage the players inside.

The map is quite large and there are plenty of Oping opportunities for both defense and offense although, the OP is used in defense majority to hold the site and stop the attacker’s advance into the site. The Map design particularly helps snipers take point on A heaven and B long. So, make sure you are at your peak sniping prowess when using the Operator on Bind.

The map was taken out of map rotation a while back and has gone through some design changes which the players will be able to see once it gets back into map rotation at the start of the next act.

Best Strategies and Agent Composition for Bind

Since Bind has no Mid area and is divided into sites, it makes it a very defensive-sided map with a lot of Oping opportunities. The best team composition consists of agents which have smoking utility to be used at choke points and block the enemy along with site holders aka ‘sentinels’.

Sentinels and Controllers

One of the best sentinels on Bind is Cypher and you can use check this guide out on the best Cypher utility plays and strategies to be used on Bind.

Chamber despite being nerfed is still a very good sentinel that you can use since he is an eco-agent you can use his utility of TP and trap to slow down the enemy and his ultimate can be used for high frags since his Ultimate is an Operator. His ultimate was abused a lot in pro matches which led to the Nerf, but still, he is quite good when it comes to area control and delaying the spike plant.

Brimstone is another good agent that you can utilize for holding sites since you can smoke off chokepoints and then play using his post-plant utility, although you can use his molly with smoke to stop an enemy push giving your team the time to rotate or flank and catch the enemy off guard.

Killjoy is also another good agent as she can utilize her nano swarm and turret abilities to hold B site all alone allowing the rest of the team to stack A site and do a quick rotation when the enemy is pushed back. Her alarm bot is also another good utility that can delay the spike plant and put the enemy team under pressure. When under pressure, players usually make mistakes that can be used against them.

Omen is also a good agent as you can smoke throughout the map from any spot and his TP can be used as a Fake Teleport to catch the enemy off guard. With so many corners and boxes on the map, his ultimate is also quite useful to get the enemy from behind, when they aren’t expecting him, you can use Omen to play off-angles as his util is designed for that.

Astra is also a very useful agent since you can use her stars for smokes or to slow down enemies in post-plant scenarios giving your team a big advantage if her utility is used with the right timing. Her ultimate is also a useful ability since the enemy’s vision is also blocked and it spans across a large area giving you control of the map.

Duelists

When it comes to duelists, a good agent would be Raze since the narrow alleyways allow for quick movement using her satchel utility and catching the enemy off guard. Her ultimate is also a good ability as it can take out multiple enemies at the same time. Her grenade can also be used to give a large amount of damage as well making her an obvious pick in a match.

Reyna is the most picked duelist due to her healing and info-picking utility. She becomes quite an OP agent if you have the raw aim. Use the blind and then pick out the enemy while they are blinded and trying to take your blind out since it can be shot at and broken.

All about the Timing

It all comes down to how proficient you are with a particular agent and how well-timed you use their utility. The more timed your utility usage, the more advantage your team has. After all, it’s all about the aim and timing of the utility as well as the Game sense that comes with experience. So, the more you play the better you become at the map and subsequently the game, allowing you to win your matches and rise through the ranks.

We hope that you liked the guide and you will benefit from it when grinding for your rank. Happy Gaming!
