Hello everyone! My name is KiraVeX, and today, I will talk about the new legend, Alter, for Apex Legends.
Unless you’ve been completely oblivious, you might have noticed the giant green portal in the sky with Olympus coming through that’s about to crash land into Broken Moon.
You might be wondering if that means Olympus is going away forever, and that is not the case, as it is an alternate version.
Some of you have noticed there is a giant portal in the sky, which is a void Rift that has Olympus coming through. It can be found on all maps that you can see in Storm Point, but it’s also on Broken Moon, which is where it’s going to be most important. in case you didn’t notice, it is also on Olympus. This is a little confusing because, well, it’s Olympus crashing into Olympus map, and a lot of people are like, wait, I thought Olympus was getting removed, and it’s going to crash into broken Moon, which is true. It is crashing into a broken Moon.
From the teaser, we know that Broken Moon is going to be the focus of this implosion. However, there’s actually a blue void in the middle of this, which isn’t the green one, which is even more confusing.
We know that season 21 is going to be getting the brand new broken Moon map update, and the district is being pushed back to, I think, Season 22, according to Osvaldatore. ( Apex Legends leaker)
If you haven’t noticed it yet, there is a green rift in the sky of every map. The Apex universe is blue and dark purple. For example, if you use the Void Ability from Ash and by wraith, you will see it in green, which means this has something to do with the new legend coming.

Alter Abilities and Release date
Everyone is super excited about the new Apex Legends and its release date for season 21. According to the sources, the new season will start on May 7 at 10 a.m. PST or 6 p.m. GMT.
- Passive Ability: ‘Gift From the Rift’ reportedly allows Alter to remotely claim any item (excluding armor) from any Apex Legends Death Box after interacting with it. This unique Ability could give Alter an advantage in quickly acquiring essential items without needing to directly approach the Death Box, boosting her looting efficiency and survivability in intense firefights.
- Tactical Ability: ‘Void Passage’ enables Alter to create a portal passageway through a surface. This tactical Ability could offer versatile mobility options for Alter and her team, allowing them to swiftly navigate through obstacles, flank opponents, or retreat to safety when under pressure.
- Ultimate Ability: ‘Void Nexus’ creates a regroup point that Alter and her teammates can use to travel back to a previous placement location. This ultimate Ability introduces strategic possibilities for Alter’s team, enabling them to maintain map control, execute coordinated attacks, or facilitate quick escapes during engages.
