Junker queen tank hero

4-star Hero

Junker Queen made their first appearance in the second Overwatch 2 Beta and Overwatch season summer showdown. Her shout showed her survivability with 100 HP given to the teammates and 200 given to herself. with Lucio and Brig beside her in Overwatch League the Meta was nicknamed Choutes reminiscent of the old goat’s comps. She is severely nerfed her shout only gives 50 health to teammates and the duration is significantly lowered from five to three seconds as well as increasing the cooldown from 11 to 15 seconds.

This made her brawl like Ryan without the damage or the sustainability of up-close tanks. Queen has the lowest damage which can be considered as off tanks. She never got to be part of two tanks of Overwatch but with her health and lack of armor, the Junker queen can be considered to be in the off-tank category. Her damage is quite lackluster. The skill should be high when playing the Junker Queen.

Doomfist - overwatch tank character

3-Star Hero

Doomfist got a rework from Overwatch One to Overwatch 2. Doomfist has a low HP pool and is supposed to get value through hitting punches and slams to gain shields which is similar to Overwatch 1. But if you are not hitting these abilities not only, are you not doing damage or stuns but you are also very squishy for a tank and easy to kill. There are also several counters to Doomfist’s ability to block which is used to absorb incoming damage and provide the power-up punch ability. This one-time punch travels twice as fast and can stun enemies who hit a wall for a full second. It is great for getting kills on 200-hp targets. Doomfist power doesn’t come in raw damage.

It’s in his ability to hit cooldowns to stun enemies and inflict a small amount of damage while also giving himself more Shields. His big play is to get in with his power-up punch, punching a 200hp Target into a wall which can also hit multiple enemies. You may not be getting big solo kills on Doomfist. Doomfist does real damage if you hit on the center ring and that is a very prediction-reliant shot. The big win for Doonfist is survivability. When you are in the air on Doomfist cooldown reduction is multiplied by two. You will have your cooldown likely back up again by the time you hit the ground.

Reinhardt tank character

3-Star Hero

Reinhardt has a 625 HP pool consisting of 300 armor and 325 Health plus a 1200 HP barrier. He is ideal for soaking up tons of damage. Reinhardt has always been considered the best overall tankiness hero in Overwatch 2. In the first Overwatch 2 Beta Ryan had an extra 50 Armor. Also, the bug for armored damage calculations was fixed in essence a double Nerf Reinhardt. needs to be tanked to be good.

He is one of the OG tanks and can do one function at a time. He can do a lot like Objective deal damage, take damage all the good tanking stuff but he needs Shield health Reinhardt’s raw damage is good. If you get in a group of enemies and just start swinging, you can be an absolute Menace. He has two fire strikes instead of one being able to do much more consistent range damage.

Wrecking_Ball Tank Character

2-Star Hero

Wrecking Ball has self-sustain and can run in and out of fights at a high speed. Wrecking Ball has 700 HP and his shields can stack up to a whopping 1300 HP, as long he gets the max value of five targets, a hundred base shields, and an extra 100 her enemy nearby. Wrecking Ball key is being able to run away mid-fights, and grab a health pack, and by the time he comes back, the player will have his grapple off cooldown.

His primary fire is quite low compared to other tanks. However, the ball has the potential to do damage. Since he can poop enemies off the map. Wrecking Ball’s movement is so strong that they had to Nerf his grapple in Overwatch 1. If you spawned it started cooldown. Wrecking Ball doesn’t have as much team utility as other characters. It is extremely useful for dive DPS or even snippers to follow up on. Wrecking Ball potential is better, the ball players can both deny space as well as secure kills with perfect times, mines and slammed. Being a solo tank, the player has to do the following tanking duties.

  • Taking up space
  • Drawing cooldowns
  • Trying to secure kills
  • Pushing the payload

Winston overwatch tank character

3-Star Hero

Winston got some nice direct and indirect buffs in Overwatch 2 with a larger health pool of 550 and with fewer enemies to do damage to his bubble when deployed. Winston can stay healthy for a longer period in the fight. In Beta 1, Winston was dominating the Beta. This caused his buffed at the time bubble to get nerfed back to where it is in Overwatch 1. Winston will be a great pick for veteran tank players who understand how to play aggressively in Overwatch 2.

Winston got an upgrade in Overwatch 2 with the big one being sniper monkey. Overwatch has added an alternate right-click fire to Winston, which is a ranged hit scan attack. This allows Winston to do a small amount of damage. Winston’s power comes from his ability to cleave and do damage to multiple enemies at a time even through barriers. Winston’s utility is a little bit harder than Diva’s defense Matrix. Getting in a deep and knocking enemies around in primal especially carrying someone halfway across the map. Overwatch 2 removes that Reliance on an off-tank to keep you from beating the spawn room while keeping the high-flying ability.

Zarya tank character

4-Star Hero

Zarya has a total of 475 HP and she behaves like the off-tank version of rhyme-trading tankiness. For damage, Zarya can now use both bubbles for herself and if needed increase her tankiness. If you use both of the bubbles quote hecked imong 2022. She can get to 80 energies quite easily and be able to start shredding in the team fights, the only key is how to use those bubbles.

Zarya will be able to sustain high energy keep teammates alive with bubbles and also do a high amount of damage. You can boop yourself much further than previously overwatch. This allows you to get to small high grounds. Using two bubbles on yourself is more useful than trying to use one for yourself and one for a teammate. This allows you to get a higher charge fast. Zayra had a hundred charges just beaming down enemies as you kept your bubbles to save teammates in danger.

Orisa tank character overwatch 2

4-Star Hero

Orisa Got the major changes in the Overwatch 2. Orisa has been reworked from the stationary bunker Shield tank through this Brawley Javelin- welding horse lord. It has 100 HP, over health buff.  She also has a Javelin spin that eats incoming damage coming from the projectile. The ability of Orisa is range stun that can be used and thrown as a skill shot. The key to victory is her systematic usage of her cooldown to rotate in and out of the brawl fight.

The big damage tool is her Javelin spear which can be thrown every six seconds doing 80 damages if you land one. While also pinning them to a wall and stunning them for a second. If you land a spirit on a 200-hp target, you can quickly burst it down with a series of headshots. However, she is still slow.  She can stun with her spear which is great against readhog. The flow of Orisa’s game place feels super fun to play.

Sigma tank character

5-Star Hero

Sigma’s health pool is quite small only being to 500 HP with shields, not armor. But he is extremely survivable with a personal shield for himself and teammates of 700 HP. A small personal defense Matrix on a Cooldown. He has a One-shot stun combo with rock primary fire, the rock was buffed damage. Sigma outputs damage is legit and it is very consistent damage. If you can hit your shots with two orbs that have to be shot together as projectiles. He has no Mobility tools in his kits.

Sigma has the best Utility kit in the game. The only other contender would be Diva with a 700 HP shield and a personal defense matrix that can eat alts and incoming damage while giving yourself shields. Sigma Ultimate is the same as Overwatch 1, being able to CC enemies into the air helplessly and then slam them from half of their health pool is by far one of the best ultimate in the Overwatch 2.

D.VA Tank character

3-Star Hero

D.VA has a buff to her booster damage going from 10 to 25 damage on impact D.VA’s Total health pool is identical sharing the same armor health ratio of a total of 652 to Reinhardt. This combo with a three-second defense matrix makes D.VA a character many were afraid of in 5v5 format. D.VA has the best-controlled mobility in the game.

D.VA has two full seconds of flight able to move in any direction and at any time perfect for going in deep on the enemy backline to finish off kills. D.VA is the only character that is considered as dangerous as its death ratio is too high.

Roadhog tank character

4-Star Hero

Roadhog takes a big 350 HP self-heal while also getting his 50% damage reduction. He also has the passive where he gets booed 30% less than he used to. This was Reinhardt’s old passive of steadfastness that every tank has. He also got one-shot hook combos on 250 HP plus targets. It also has fewer shields. He has no movement abilities. Self-heal can make him one of the most infuriating Heroes to play against and makes a mean combo with Kiriko. Before choosing the Roadhog character, it is important to note that the Roadhog’s win ratio is low as compared to the other heroes.

Mauga tank character

5-Star Hero

Mauga is also available in Overwatch 2, as it was also in Overwatch 1. The Mauga has been reworked with much more abilities. Mauga is one of the aggressive characters in Overwatch, there will be a reduction from 350 to 250 in the health pool. The armor Hp has increased from 150 to 250.  Due to the recent changes of Mauga in Overwatch 2, this character is the top pick from the players as its abilities are higher than the other characters.
