Agent Tier List Patch 8.04

We will be breaking down the new meta tier list from best and worst agents.

TierAgents
S-tierCypher, Raze, Omen, Viper
A-tierGekko, Skye, Kay/O, Killjoy, Jett, Sova
B-tierAstra, Fade, Brimstone, Breach
C-tierChamber, Yoru, Harbor
D-tierDeadlock, Phoenix, Sage, Neon

Deadlock was being experimented with by pro team EG maps like Icebox and doing incredibly impressive. As enemy teams got more and more used to dealing with Deadlock, they were able to adapt and overcome them. Deadlock is viable on Icebox, especially in ranked play. Deadlock entered the D-tier category along with Phoenix.
Sage is having a tough time in Meta as Sage pick rates on Icebox have slipped to the point where she doesn’t see any play right now. Even the Deadlock is seeing more play than her. Sage still has a high win rate in ranked play and is still doing fine, you can win with her in ranked but for pro play her utility doesn’t quite transfer into the value. Neon will also be in the D-tier category due to the lack of her abilities.
Chamber did get buffed but it didn’t change his pick rate. He is still seeing some plays but due to the powers of a lot of Sentinels at the high ends, he is not seeing Play even on his previous good maps like Breeze and Lotus. Chamber will be in C-tier along with Yoru.

Harbor is usually used as a double controller setup on maps and he does have a lot of potential to see more play overall. Right now, he’s seeing a little bit of play on Breeze and Icebox. The Harbor’s pick rate is kind of lagging and he will be in C-tier.
Astra is a double controller as well specifically on split. She sees play but she sees a substantial amount about 50% is what she is seeing but she is not so dominating in every single map along with Fade who is still a strong character and still seeing a little bit of play on the map like Lotus.
Brimstone seeing a ton of pick rate, especially on Bind that’s his best map by far. We are seeing him sometimes on Icebox and some other maps with double controller setups. Fracture isn’t in the map pool but once that comes back Brimstone’s pick rate will skyrocket and his tier on this list will go up respectively.
Gekko is looking good especially after Skye has got nerfed. Gekko is seeing a lot of value, especially from many of the top teams trailing Gekko. Gekko is the best character in ranked as well along with Skye because of her nerfed. Her utility is good on Split and Bind.
Cypher has kind of just wrapped the Meta around him in a meaningful way on maps like Breeze, and Sunset, and he sees play on Ascent and Split. Players are getting better at dealing with Cypher because they respect his utility more.
Raze is seeing an almost 100% pick rate on Split, seeing tons of pick rates on Bind, lotus, and Sunset. The best Duelist right now just narrowly edging out Jett and being very strong as she is best rank Stompers as well.
