Top 10 Tips to Get 20 Kill Badge In Apex Legends

Hello everyone! Today I’m going to give you some important tips on how to get a 20 kill badge also known as Legend’s Wake in Apex Legends. One of the hardest badges to achieve in Apex Legends is the 20 bomb badge. To get the 20 kill badge, you are required to kill 20 enemies in a single match which is not an easy task even for some highly skilled players.

I’m a professional Apex Legends booster and I help my clients achieve 20 kill badges, in this guide, I will teach you how to get a 20 kill badge for free.

Apex Legends 20kill Badge

[Legend’s] Wake

[Legend’s] Wake badge will be achieved by killing at least 20 enemies in one game and this badge is also known as the “20 bomb”. A lot of players do not know how actually to get the badge but they don’t give up. if you’re still trying to get your first 20 bomb, keep on going, don’t focus on it then it will come when you least expect it. Killing 20 legends in a single match would be really tough.

Try to kill all three members of the squad by yourself. Your teammates can help you out by weakening the enemies so that you can kill them with ease. This is a legend-specific badge which means that you have to do this on every single legend that you want to unlock this badge on. Steal kills from poor unsuspecting teammates. the player would only have to achieve 20 final blows.

1. Play with friends

20 kill badge is hard to achieve and to get this badge you should try to play with your friends. Playing with anonymous people will be harder for many reasons. First off, they will steal your kills and you will not get 20 kills in a single way.

Finding and killing 20 players in the game is difficult in Apex Legends. When playing with random teammates, they might not stick with you or follow your strategy. They might not listen to your instructions or choose the right weapons for your aggressive playstyle needed to achieve the 20 kill badge.

However, playing with friends who understand your goals can be helpful. You can coordinate with them to break down enemy shields and draw their attention away from you. A good combination of weapons for them to use is the Wingman and Peacekeeper. The Wingman deals consistent damage from a distance, allowing you to predict when to shoot again. The Peacekeeper is effective up close, letting you dance around enemies while weakening them without accidentally killing them.

So, while your friends chip away at the enemies and distract them, you can swoop in and finish them off, giving you the edge you need to achieve your goal.

2. Choose your Loadout

You’re going to be fighting a lot so look for the low-time to kill, weapons such as an assault rifle, or an SMG, and almost always couple that with a shotgun. Shotguns give you huge bursts on enemies if you can close the gap and will help you clutch up if needed if you’re going for 1v freeze. Ideally, these shotguns would be the Mastiff, The Peacekeeper, or the Eva 8 in that order.

As you’re going to be dropping hot that means that you will have to be versatile. Pick weapons that you’re good with but seeing most players won’t have good loot either way just pick up the first few guns you find and try to make the most out of them.

Don’t use snipers, Bocek, or marksman guns while chasing 20 kill badge. Pick the R-99 as it will allow you to get an insane amount of damage at close range and will finish them super fast. whenever going for the 20 bomb badge don’t forget to have an R-99 in your weapons collection. Try to make the combination with R-99 as the following.

  • R-99 + Eva
  • R-99 + Mastiff
  • R-99 + R-301
  • R-99 + Prowler
  • R-99 + Flatline

These combinations will surely lead you to get 20 kill damage Badge quickly.

3. Land in a Populated locations

To get the 20 kill badge, you need to kill 20 enemies from the lobby. For this, I recommend you land the best spot where you can find the maximum number of teams to get the maximum damage by knocking them. Starting a match by getting maximum kills will automatically boost your confidence so find the location on the map before starting the match where you can get maximum loot and remember your loot is your enemies.

In an Area like a hot zone or any other populated location, you can find two or three teams. So, your first step is to land in a populated area and get as many kills as possible without being killed. You can also land on the nearest zones to one of the hot zones on the map as you can also find enemies over there. Always communicate with your friends and land in the same location so that they can protect and give you cover, in this way, you will get maximum kills.

The ideal scenario for getting 20 kill badge is more enemy players are alive and you have more kills. Landing in the highly populated area will lead you to get more kills and your main aim is to get 20 kills in a single match. If you land in fragment and the ring is pulling towards skyhook then you know a lot of people are probably going to be over in that direction. If you landed a market in King’s Canyon then you know Octane School is only a stone’s throw away.

4. Always keep moving

Your goal is to get 20 kills in a match so you should never stop moving. Always be in a moving position, in this way, you will get increase your chance of getting more kills. Moving into the different areas will lead you to find more enemies in the game.

If you stop moving, then you will never complete 20 kills as you will not find more enemies. For the 20 bomb badges, Legends with high mobility like Octane, Valkyrie, and Pathfinder should be in your team. If you get enough kills but still require 2 to 3 kills to complete 20 kills and you are running out of clock then I recommend you to keep moving in different areas and kill every enemy you find on a way with the best strategy.

5. Staying Alive is necessary

It is crucial to stay alive in the game. Getting 19 kills and trying to get the last kill to complete your goal but your single mistake gets you killed so what’s the point of getting those 19 kills? Avail the safer chances and keep your friends close to you in case you get downed by the enemy then your friends will revive you.

Your life is important, always get the kills whenever you feel that no one can knock or kill you. However, the first time when you get downed, you can be revived within 90 Seconds, for the second being downed you can be revived within 60 seconds and for the third time, your friends can revive you within 15 seconds. Life is unpredictable so don’t take unnecessary chances that will lead you to get being knocked or killed.

6. Farming and Feeding

Farming and feeding go into getting the 20 kill badge and basically, if you don’t know what these terms mean. Feeding is when your teammates do a little bit of damage to enemies and then you go in and finish them off. Essentially making it a lot easier for you to secure the kill.

Communicate with your friends and make a plan in which your friends will knock the enemies and you just kill them with ease to get more kills. Using the feeding method will allow you to be safer and without impacting your health, you will get more kills.

Farming is much the same but except for damage-wise, you just let the enemies heal up and shoot them over and over again because if you know the team is bad then you might as well just get the maximum amount of damage off of them. This method is used to get a 4k damage badge.

7. Fast Loot

Whether or not you’re going for a 20 kill badge or a 4k damage badge, you need to be fast in what you’re doing and if you think you’re being fast and you’re still not getting your 20 bomb then you’re not being fast enough. So, you need to speed up a lot faster.

What you’ve to do is you have to think fast, loot fast, and rotate fast. Everything you do in Apex Legend you have to do it at Mach 10. Essentially when you’re trying to go for the 20 kill badge, your biggest enemy is the clock and every other player in the game. But not just because they’re trying to kill you but they’re also trying to kill everyone else, which means they might kill so many people that you don’t have enough people left to kill to get the 20 bomb badge in one game.

8. Steal kills in late-game

When only a few players are left in the match, only pro players are left in the game so you need to be smarter than the others and loot their last kills to complete 20 kills in that single game. Try to third-party two enemy teams when the situation gets tougher than before. If you find two to three players teams downed then do not kill them, instead go for the players that had the knocked players and then kill the knocked players.

However, the chances of this situation are rare but whenever happens try to avail yourself of this chance and kill the team who knocked the players and then finish the players who were knocked, in this way, you will get 6 kills.

9. Face the weaker enemies first

The best technique is to focus on the weaker enemies first whenever you encounter a squad. Doing this will not only reduce the number of opponents but also help you to take them down quickly. After killing the weaker enemies, you can go for the stronger players with the best tactics.

Separate the enemies from their squadmates whenever you find the opportunity. You can use it to your advantage, once you kill 2 to 3 players of the squad as a result rest of the squad will get a puzzle.
