Riot Games recently released a new patch 9.07 to its beloved 5v5 Tactical FPS, Valorant on October 8, 2024, featuring various updates regarding the agents, map pool, training events, visual improvements in Premier, and numerous bug fixes. Although a small update heavily focused on bug fixes, it also updates Astra’s Cosmic Divide and Cypher’s Spycam. Patch 9.06 was more focused on player behavior with minor changes to Agents.

Here is everything you need to know about the changes made in Valorant’s latest 9.07 patch.

Major Changes in New Valorant Patch 9.07

The latest update of Valorant focuses on numerous bug fixes including maps and agents including competitive and premiere updates. One of the major fixes for maps is in Abyss where the agents could access an out-of-bound area on top of A Site. Moreover, the spawn barriers have also been updated to prevent Cypher’s Cage from landing on the barrier.

In the agents’ update, Astra’s Cosmic Divide will have a more consistent sound when passing through it. Moreover, you cannot place Cypher Spycam now above a rising Sage Barrier Orb. For the progression update, there have been some changes in Training Event Milestones, like new players will have to plant and defuse the Spike instead of practice in The Range.

Moving over to the Console updates, the Devs have added a text and visual description for ‘aim curve’ settings.
