Unlock maximum FPS In xDefiant – 2024 Working Trick

2024 has been a great year for multiplayer gaming. We have gotten multiple successful multiplayer games: Tekken 8, Helldivers, and Call of duty black ops 6 are just a few of them. The one thing that is common between all of the multiplayer games is that they are really competitive. Players grind in these games for hours upon hours each and every day to just get better and in this endless tier of grinding the winning factor is always an advantage over another. What I mean by that is all players play the game to win.

But the winner will always be the one who has an advantage over his enemy.

That advantage can be anything. It can be more hours into the game, a better synergy within your team, and a better strategy but most importantly you would need to have one if you want to win. Another thing is if you don’t have an advantage in a fight or a match you would need to at least make sure that you don’t have anything that will hold you back. Whether it’s your experience, courage to make plays, or most importantly the in-game settings that’ll use your system’s resources.

Luckily, there’s a way to optimize almost any game to get the best possible performance out of your rig. Now The game we are going to optimize in this blog is going to be xDefiant. After doing everything I will tell you about, you will get a frame rate jump from anywhere from 15% to 45% depending upon which settings you use and how powerful your system is. So let’s begin shall we!!!

System Requirements:

You would need these minimum pc requirements to get xDefiant Running smoothly. Firstly we need to make sure that you have good enough hardware to run the game.

  • Operating system: Windows 10
  • CPU: Intel i3-10105F or AMD Ryzen 3 3100
  • RAM: 8 GB (Dual Channel)
  • GPU: Intel ARC A380 (6 GB), Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti (4 GB), or AMD RX 5550 XT (4GB)
  • Storage: 35 GB
  • Resolution: 1080p

The required hardware is on the lower or mid-range side of pc hardware. So let’s move on

General things to do beforehand:

Before doing the actual optimization we need to get your PC’s resources free up so the game can use the full resources.

The first thing you need to do is to disable any unwanted apps from the background. Just go to Task Manager, find any apps that you don’t use and click End Task. You should disable any unwanted apps that start with Windows and run in the background all of the time.

Disabling them is easy just go to Task Manager and click on Startup. You would have a list of a bunch of apps, disable the ones that you plan not to use and you’re done. You should also Update your GPU Drivers as well as your windows. A clean install of an updated version of Windows would be better in case there’s a bad update or a mismatch between driver versions.

Video Game Settings:

So here are the recommended video settings that you should use to get the best possible fps in the game.

  • Windowed Mode: Fullscreen
  • Resolution: use the native resolution of your monitor.
  • Refresh Rate: use the native refresh rate of your monitor
  • Enable Reduced Latency: Yes
  • NVIDIA Reflex Low Latency: on
  • Enabled Brightness: 15
  • Contrast: 15
  • FoV: between 105 to 115 it also depends upon your preference.
  • Vsync: OFF (Obviously).
  • Frame limit: off.
  • Shadow Quality: Low
  • Spot Shadows: Low
  • Contact Shadows: Off
  • Resolution Scale: 85%.
  • Particle Detail: Medium
  • Volumetric Fog: Low
  • Global Reflection Quality: Low
  • Local Reflection Quality: Off’
  • Vegetation Quality: off
  • Sub-surface Scattering: off
  • Ambient Occlusion: medium
  • Object Detail: 0%
  • Extra Streaming distance: 0%
  • Water quality: low
  • Chromatic aberration: preferential.
  • Terrain Quality: Low

Turning your settings down is the best way to get more fps but it comes at cost visual fidelity. The settings above that I have given you are the middle way of doing this they will provide a decent visual experience while also giving you a frame rate experience.

Download A Lossless Scaling and Disable Ubisoft Overlay:

Downloading the loss-less scaling software is a cheat code for getting more frames. What lossless scaling does is it first renders the game on a worse resolution and then upscales it to your desired resolution. Now you might ask how it is different from FSR or DLSS. The difference between the two is simple: while DLS and FSR work with an in-game engine, the lossless scaling works as an overlay. That is it!!!.

Disabling the Ubisoft also gives off a few extra frames which are always welcomed. Run the application and click on settings which would be on the left side of your screen. After that a new window will open up in that window click on the tab that says interface. Now you will see two check boxes uncheck the one which says “ Enable in-game overlay for supported games”.

And voila you’re done.
