The Dragonflight Expansion of WOW has a number of features in it but the most popular feature of this expansion is the Vault of the Incarnates. It is the first raid tier where players will get to encounter 8 new bosses including the first antagonist named “Raszageth”. During the raid, you will get to find high-end PvE gear as well for which most of the players will complete this raid.
In this guide, we’ll tell you all about the Vault of Incarnates Bosses, Strategies to defeat the bosses, Loot, and all the important information.
Before we start, you should know that we are also offering Vault of the Incarnates raid boosting service for our WoW lovers. Boosting will help you finish the raid easily without worrying about anything.
Vault of the Incarnates Overview
The Vault of the Incarnates was a titan prison that was used to hold the Incarnates for millennia. Raszageth and Primalists breached the prison to perform the foul ritual to unleash the siblings so, that they can purge the world of the Titans’ influence.
You will get to fight the bosses of Vault of the Incarnates in the following order.
- Eranog
- Terros
- The Primal Council (Embar Firepath, Opalfang, Kadros Icewrath, and Dathea Stormlash)
- Sennarth
- Dathea, Ascended
- Kurog Grimtotem
- Broodkeeper Diurna
- Raszageth
As you complete the Vault of the Incarnates week by week, you will be able to skip almost all of the bosses. You will have to do the same procedure as the previous expansion. You need to complete the Vault of the Incarnates: Break a Few Eggs quest by getting 3 Shard of the Greatstaff from Broodkeeper Diurnia. It will allow you to skip some of the boss fights but you would still have to fight Eranog, Terros, Broodkeeper Diurnia, and Raszageth. NOTE: This quest is for the Normal Difficulty and if you are playing on Heroic or Mythic Difficulty, you will have to complete other available versions of the quest.

Vault of the Incarnates Entrance
The entrance of the Vault of the Incarnates is located in the eastern part of Thaldraszus at 73.14 55.60. There is a flying point near the entrance that you can unlock to get to the Vault of the Incarnates. You will be needing a dragon in order to get to the entrance so, make sure that you have dragonriding unlocked.
Vault of the Incarnates Bosses Strategies
You will get to encounter 8 new bosses in the Vault of the Incarnates and as you defeat the bosses, you will progress ahead in the raid and you will get to encounter Raszageth at the end of the raid. We will tell you the efficient strategy for each boss in this raid so, you can easily complete the raid without much trouble.
Eranog Strategy
Eranog is the first boss of the raid with DPS-check intermission.
- Run away from the marks on the ground to dodge the attack.
- Tanks should swap when they have too many Burning Wound stacks.
- You need to focus on the Flamerift spell and bring the lava pools to the boss. The lava pools will surround the players and summon adds on them. In order to destroy pools without getting much damage, all the players impacted by this spell should get in one place.
- If you are inflicted with a Molten Cleave attack, you should maintain a distance from the rest of the players to minimize the damage.
- The Incinerating Roar can be dispelled by Healers.
- All the DPS should focus on one add to break the circle.
- Stay away from the Molten Spikes in the area to evade the explosion.
- Once Enarog reaches 100% Energy, he will spawn a ring of fire that will keep closing in the arena. The ring is held by elementals and you need to kill one of them to get out of the ring before you get trapped inside.
You just need to repeat the strategy in order to defeat him.
Terros Strategy
Terros is a big elemental boss that will destroy a quarter of the arena on every 100% Energy. So, you will have to defeat him before the whole arena destroys.
- The Tectonic Barrage can be prevented by the Tanks if they are near the boss.
- You will have to soak the damage of Rock Blast by staying in a group.
- You need to place the rock pillars created by the Awakened Earth attack in a straight line so, that when Terros use a Concussive Slam attack, he hit the pillars.
- You need to move to the other side of the arena when Terros starts destroying a quarter of the arena.
- Look out for the marks on the ground to dodge the AoE attacks.
You just need to repeat the process until he gets defeated. There is also a moment where you will get the chance to loot Terros’s Captive Core that can be exchanged into Iskaara Trader’s Ottuk mount.
Primal Council Strategy
You will have to face 4 different bosses in the Primal Council boss fight and you need to use their own attacks to defeat them. Fighting in this boss fight will also get you the rare Whispering Incarnate Icon trinket.
- Avoid the marks on the ground while tanks keep all of the bosses in one place and the raid group spread in different locations.
- You need to use the Earthen Pillar to remove the debuff of the Conductive Mark. While inflicted with this attack, you need to stay away from the rest of the players and wait for the Earthen Pillar.
- Use the Meteor Axes to clear the platform from the Earthen Pillar.
- Neglect the Primal Blizzard stacks by running into the Scorched Ground attack.
- Defeating all of the bosses at the same time will be more effective because defeating the bosses one by one will increase their output damage exponentially.
Repeat the process of breaking their attacks with their own attacks until they get low on HP and then defeat all of them at once.
Sennarth Strategy
You will get to fight Sennarth on several platforms who will try to push the players off the platforms.
- You need to avoid the marks on the ground and track blue plumes to not get pushed by them.
- Avoid the Spider adds by going through the side of them and not staying in front of them.
- You need to minimize the effect of Breath of Ice and Chilling Blast by staying away from the rest of the players.
- Use the spider explosions to remove the web stacks.
- Use the big rocks or the webs to prevent the Gossamer Burst attack. If you get hit by this attack, your raiding group will fall off the platform.
Dathea, Ascended Strategy
Dathea is a wind elemental boss and the players will have to stand strong against its storm powers.
- At the start of the fight, raid group should spread due to the Conductive Mark attack. They can group up again after 80 seconds.
- Change your position by tracking and inspecting the Raging Tempest attack.
- Stay away from the tornadoes and the Melee range during the Cyclone attack.
- You need to kill the spawned adds and get to a safe distance after killing them to prevent yourself of pushed away by the explosion. He will spawn the adds during the Coalescing Storm.
By defeating this boss, you will get the rest of the pieces of Iskaara Trader’s Ottuk mount.
Kurog Grimtotem Strategy
There will be an intermission while fighting this boss and he will also change his abilities depending on the parts of the platform.
- You need to spread out to soak the Lightning Crash attack. He will do this attack when you start from the Altar of Storm zone.
- Move to the Altar of Flame when you have 25 stacks on the boss. You can stay together as well as spread in the Altar of Flame.
- He will do Thundering Ravager and Blazing Fiend attacks during the intermission.
- Move to the Altar of Frost after the intermission.
- RDD (Ranged Fighters) needs to change in between the melee and ranged attacks to soak the Absolute Zero attack.
- Move to the Altar of Earth when you have 18 stacks on the boss.
- Avoid Seismic Rupture attacks by spreading on the platform.
- Use Erupting Bedrock attack from a low range on the boss.
- You need to kill the Frozen Destroyer first and then the Tectonic Crusher during the second intermission.
- You will not be able to move from zones in Heroic Difficulty as you will face Primal Shift after moving one zone during the fight.
Broodkeeper Diurna Strategy
Broodkeeper Diurna guards the dragon eggs and players will have to fight him along with stopping the eggs from hatching and defeating adds at the same time.
- Diurna will try to hatch the dragon eggs to spawn a powerful add during the fight and in order to stop the eggs from hatching, you need to use the Greatstaff of the Broodkeeper by getting closer to it. It will cast the Greatstaff’s Wrath spell that will destroy the eggs that Diurnia is hatching using the Rapid Incubation attack. The spell of the Greatstaff will change to Empowered Greatstaff’s Wrath in phase 2.
- Use DD and RDD to take out the adds more easily. The adds will get buff if they get close to Diurna. You need to keep them away from the boss and use tanks to kill them quickly.
- During the fight, you need to kill Juvenile Frost Proto-Dragon first to get rid of the Chilling Tantrum attack. After that, take out Dragonspawn Flamebender to get rid of the Flame Sentry, kill the Drakonid Stormbringer to get rid of the Ionizing Charge, and at the end you can focus on Primalist Mage.
- Dispel the Icy Shroud attack and track the fire puddles to stay away from the Wildfire attack.
- Keep Diurna in the middle of the platform in the second phase so, the adds don’t get buffed up by him.
Raszageth Strategy
He is the first big boss of the Dragonflight expansion and he has three phases with two intermissions along with proto-dragons and primalist.
- Move out the front to avoid the Lightning Breath attack.
- Track the lightning marks on the ground to avoid Lightning Strikes attack.
- Move out of the areas to avoid the Lightning Devastation attack.
- If you get marked with the Static Charge attack, you need to stay away from the rest of the players and groups.
- Use the Static Field to protect yourself from the Hurricane Wing effect.
- Spread in the arena to avoid the Volatile Current attack.
- Tanks need to use the taunt swap after the Electrified Jaws attack.
- You need to avoid the Hurricane Wing attack in the second phase.
- If you get inflicted with Fulminating Charge, you need to spread away from the rest of the group and other players.
- You will have to destroy the shield of Raszageth in under 25 seconds during the Stormsurge attack. After that, you need to create camps for the players, and by staging near the players, you will get the damage buff.
- During the Intermissions, you will have to focus on killing the adds.
- You would have to kill Raszageth before the Raging Storm destroys the whole platform in Phase 3.
- Tanks would have to use taunt swap after every Thunderous Blast attack in third phase.
Vault of the Incarnates Drop
The ilvl raid difficulty is more flexible in the Dragonflight expansion than in the previous expansion. Due to this, players will get higher-level items not only from the last bosses but from the other bosses as well. After defeating the bosses, they will drop higher-level items and you can get Rings from Enarog and Diurna, an Omni Trinket from the Primal Council, and a bow from Raszageth. All of the items will have a rating of +6/+7 depending on the difficulty level.

Vault of the Incarnates BOE Farming
The BOE Farming is not effective as it was in the previous expansion and it is due to the new system that has been introduced by BLIZZARD in the game. Now, players would not be able to farm BOE Items from the thrash to sell them at the auction. The only way to get BOE Items is from the Lieutenants (Mini-Bosses) once per week. It also implies the normal bosses as well. However, the BOE Items pool can be expanded by looting the bracers or legs along with Weapon and Trinkets.
The BOE items that players can farm by looting trash in the Vault of the Incarnates are the following.
