The next Dragonflight Update of the patch 10.2.5 has finally made its way over on the PTR Realms. This patch will be going live on January 16th. The Patch 10.2.5 is similar to every other .5 patch before it which is a smaller update that doesn’t include massive and major seasonal Upgrades but like every other .5 patch before it, brings with it more convenience customization, and even more world activities.
Blizzard has given us more information on the upcoming patch. Dragon riding outside of the dragon Isles as well as a new dragonfly, follower dungeons, and a quest to retake the Gilneas. The patch 10.2.5 brings additional public events like Azeroth archives even more additional stories of Us reclaiming the zone of Gilneas, A new mode for solo win dungeons, additional characters, and even class customization options. Some of the upcoming features arriving with the future patch of 10.2.5, which is currently available for testing over the PTR.
New features Coming in Patch 10.2.5 Seeds of Renewal
Dragon riding is available Worldwide
The most exciting feature in the World of Warcraft Patch 10.2.5 is the Dragon riding anywhere in the Azeroth where flying is available with a caveat, unlike the normal buff you get on the dragon isles. Where you receive a buff called Riding Abroad that restricts dragon riding mounts’ movement to 80% of their maximum speeds. The players have to test this out to make sure that they can do it in so many places and Dragon riding will be everywhere, in most places that matter. Dragon riding will provide huge benefits during mound farming and old content as needed.
Only the dragons will be able to use Dynamic flying in any of the older World zones. Evokers will gain access to use Dragon riding or dynamic flying as part of their unique race. This gives you access to the same speeds as well as other Dragon riding abilities, allowing you to dive down, swoop up, and search forward just like every other Dragon. The dynamic flying feature will be a little bit slower out in the older War zones compared to Dragon Isles, roughly 20% slower. If you were to hop on the PTR and compare the flying speed, you would notice that flying within the Dragon Isle is a little bit faster. Dragon riding is still incredibly quick in comparison to their Original Flying System.
Follower Dungeon Mode
The other feature coming with Patch 10.2.5 is Follower Dungeon, which allows you to queue for solo normal dungeons or partner up with up to Four other players into a Follower Dungeon experience. Follower Dungeon will include follower companions that will either tank, heal, or deal the damage for your group. And these followers will adjust, depending on the role that you choose to play. These follower companions have advanced movement and ability usage priority systems.
Similar to the player NPCs that you will find within the islands of the battle for Azeroth. These followers will try to act like players. They will jump, interrupt abilities, use crowd control and the tank follower will even pull enemies around the corner to make sure that the dungeon packs are in little Clump. These Follower Dungeons will be available for eight initial Dragonflight Dungeons. This mode may be fantastic for learning some of the Class basics, like if you want to start tanking, healing, or pick up a range DPS. Rewards that are given for these will be similar to normal Dungeons loot with players.
Tolls and Dreanei Customization
World of Warcraft’s new patch 10.2.5, is also bringing Character Customization for the Trolls and Draenei. New customization will be coming in Patch 10.2.5 in World of Warcraft for the Draenei, Troll, and warlock Pets or demons. The Coming patch will include a new theme for the characters like, Draenei, Troll, and demons, which will make the gameplay stunning. Soon the patch will be available in the World of Warcraft, where the players can see the new customization in the game.
The players notice the selected choices for the trolls and Draenei. However, there will be more customization for the warlock demons. Which is unfair to the Trolls and Draenei. Patch 10.2.5 coming on January 16, will introduce the new hair colors of the trolls, and new skins for Draenei and Warlock will have bigger customization as compared to trolls and Draenei. The upcoming, seed of Renewal will be bringing the upgrades in these characters in World of Warcraft.

New Public Events
Patch 10.2.5 introduces the new open-world activity of Azeroth archives in World of Warcraft.
