Weapon prestige camos are now available for every MW3 and MW2 weapon, in season 3. In each upcoming season, Sledgehammer Games plans to release new versions of this camo. there’s plenty of new content to dive into as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone has rolled out its mid-season update.
After about five months of playing, Players have finished grinding for weapon camos, many Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. There isn’t much left to achieve once you get access to the Interstellar and Borealis weapon mastery camos. Sledgehammer Games has introduced a fresh grind to tackle to provide players with a new challenge. When a new Call of Duty title launches, the race to earn mastery camos begins.
What are Modern Warfare 3 Weapon Prestige Camos?
You must accumulate a set amount of Weapon XP for any gun of choice to unlock a Weapon Prestige Camo and it includes carried forward from Modern Warfare 2. Unlocking the camo once won’t make it accessible to every weapon in your arsenal as Weapon Prestige Camos are earned on a per-weapon basis.
Once you earn 150,000 Weapon XP with a weapon of your choice, the first Weapon Prestige Camo goes by the name of “One Trick”. In animated molten gold, this particular camo covers your entire gun.
With the release of each season, a new Weapon Prestige Camo will be rolled out. It’s still unknown, if they’ll continue to roll out in subsequent mid-season updates or if they will be released at the beginning of the season. Choose a weapon in the gunsmith to view Weapon Prestige Camos in the new Weapon Prestige tab and then move to the “Customize” tab and then finally choose “Weapon Prestige” from the camo section. If you want to progress towards getting your hands on the camo then you can utilize this section.
How To Get Gun Prestige Camos in MW3
You just need to max out your weapon’s level to unlock weapon prestige camos. You’ll need to earn 150k weapon XP once you are done with that. You can get access to all of these camos for each weapon separately as there is not any specific order to follow.
On X (formerly named Twitter), sledgehammer Games gave fans a glimpse of the molten gold animated camo. Over the next few seasonal updates, four weapon prestige camos will be released as they have confirmed. To keep players engaged throughout MW3’s lifespan, each camo will have its own XP requirement.
One Trick camo needs to be unlocked as the requirement will be that you should have the previous ones unlocked.
However, you can get access to this camo on MW3 weapons and MW2 weapons alike.
