How to Get a Nuke in Warzone – Champion’s Quest Contract

Players looking to get a Nuke in Warzone will have to finish the Champion’s Quest as a first step in unlocking it. This massive weapon will kill every enemy on your map, along with your own character, and end the match early. Getting a hand on Nuke is not that easy so you will need to know how to launch the Nuke before you hop in. The whole process is called the Champion’s Quest and that will be unavailable for you initially. This nuke challenge is similar to Urzikstan’s, but there are some unique changes you’ll need to know. This guide will focus on how to unlock the champion’s quest contract and how to complete it.

Nuke in wz

Nuke Explained

Nuke is a unique mechanic of the game that was released way back in Warzone 2. The Tactical Nuke has been a staple in Call of Duty multiplayer since Modern Warfare 2 (2009). There are basically two ways to unlock a singular attempt at the Nuke.

·       You can either win five games in a row in any battle royale mode.

·       Win 30 games total in one season.

You’ll notice that option B is tracked in the top right when you load into a BR mode but both of these present different challenges. By far the easiest one is the 30 wins in a single season. The important part to know about either option is that new contracts are gained for the individual and not the group. Instead of killing everyone in a match, squads had to complete a contract by collecting elements and constructing a bomb.

Imagine you just won five games in a row with a full squad and you’ll each have a singular contract to attempt because you each won five games in a row. You can attempt this contract with the same squad or even load up into a solo match and attempt your contract. The same goes for option B as long as long as you win 30 games in BR. No matter who is with you, you’ll score yourself a contract. If you don’t want to use your contract then all you need to do is not pick it up and the Nuke contract does go away, so make sure to attempt your contract before season 5 comes out.

How to get the Rebirth Island Nuke?

Before I explain the procedure, you need to completely understand that getting a nuke in Warzone is difficult because of the large map and more players. Before I go into the detailed procedure below, the basic steps to get a warzone nuke are:

·       Step 1: Qualify for Champions Quest

·       Step 2: Complete Champions Quest

·       Step 3: Assemble the Nuke

·       Step 4: Arm the Nuke on the bombsite

·       Step 5: Defend the Nuke

Rebirth Island Champion’s Quest contract

Rebirth Island Champion’s Quest contract

Activate the quest

Once you’ve completed the 5-win streak, your next match will spawn a Champion’s Quest contract. This is disclosed as a yellow icon on your map. Similar to Urzikstan’s quest, you’ll need to collect the elements required to assemble the nuke.

Collecting the elements

Activating the quest tasks you to “Acquire Elements,” and it triggers a 10-minute time limit to fulfill the whole quest.

The major difference in Rebirth Island’s nuke challenge is that each of the three elements ((Beryllium, Plutonium, and Tritium) drops one by one with a 10-minute wait time. This sounds impossible because the quest only gives you 10 minutes to complete the contract, but the time for each element is decreased by completing various actions on the map. These actions include getting kills, interrogating enemies, buying items from Buy Stations, and looting supply boxes.

It is recommended that the Nuke challenge is best attempted with a full squad. You can start your match by completing a few regular contracts to collect enough cash to help you with the cooldown timers.

Get your loadouts so you can fight off anyone trying to resist you. You and your team members will have a constant UAV while the Champion’s Quest contract is active, but you’ll also all be marked for all your opponents in the match.

Elements dropped on the map are marked as a yellow supply box with a radiation symbol. Grab it quickly because the timer for the next element will not start until someone has picked up the element that already dropped.

Repeat this process until you have all three elements.

Assemble the elements

A bomb site is revealed on your map when you have all three elements. Move there, deposit the elements, and arm the bomb. This starts a two-minute countdown until detonation. Defend the area for two minutes as any player can try to stop you from completing this. The match ends with a nuke cinematic and your rewards will appear as the countdown ends.

How to complete the Rebirth Island Champion’s Quest contract

Below are all the steps that you need to follow to complete the Champion’s quest contract.

Step 1- Start the contract

After you earn the Warzone nuke contract, the quest location is marked by a gold crown on your map. Move over there and start the contract if you’re ready, and it’ll immediately ask you to locate and pick up a Geiger counter. It’s marked in gold on your map, only it’ll appear as a telephone with wings on the sides. Once you’ve activated it; you need to collect three elements but you’ve only 10 minutes to complete the quest.

Step 2 – Gather three Nuke pieces around the map

After picking up the Geiger counter, check your map for the green zone now marked. Head over there and find a special cache to loot, which gives you the Beryllium element. Repeat the same process until you collect Beryllium, Tritium, and Plutonium, the three elements essential to Build a Warzone nuke. Plutonium is earned by shooting down a helicopter carrying it and Tritium is inside a safe you’ll have to drill into. Each of these elements has 10 10-minute wait period before they spawn.

Step 3- Arm the Nuke

You’ll now have to make your way to the marked bomb site location on your map with all three elements in hand. Move to the location and start assembling the items to make the Nuke. Then, anyone from your squad will have to approach the bombsite to arm the Nuke, and the rest of your squad needs to be ready to fight.

Step 4- Defend the Plant Site

Before the detonation of the Nuke, you’ve to defend the bomb site. During this crucial time, other teams will try their best to disarm the bomb or eliminate your squad. Killing your team will allow the other teams to take the contract for themselves. However, everyone on the map will die and your team will earn a Champion’s Victory, only if you’re still standing when two minutes are up.

How to Get a Nuke in Warzone: Urzikstan Champions Quest Contract

Just like the Rebirth Island, you need to unlock the Champions Quest Contract. You’ll first have to win five matches in a row or win 30 games within a season. One player on your team will need to have completed this challenge if you’re in a squad. The Champions Quest Contract in Warzone Urzikstan has much more difficulty than Rebirth Island as other players in the game can steal the Contract by eliminating your team.

However, the process to get the Nuke is the same except for the time required to complete the contract. It’s best to start early in the game if you plan on completing Champion’s Quest contracts. It is best to start the contract in the next game if some time has already passed. The time required to complete the Urzikstan Champions Quest Contract is only 20 minutes. This means that processing of the elements, and arming the Nuke should be done within 20 minutes of grabbing the contract. Keep in mind that you need to defend the Nuke for 2 minutes to win.

Best Warzone loadout for getting a Nuke in Urzikstan

There are a lot of different ways to play while playing Call of Duty: Warzone. Many players like to be aggressive and earn as many kills as possible. However, other players like to hide on a rooftop or in a corner and wait for the enemy to pass before destroying their prey. Getting the win is the only key to earning a Nuke in Warzone.

If your primary goal is the Champion’s Quest, forget about kills and everything else in the game. Winning is much easier when you’re not playing aggressively and for that purpose, the best loadout will give you the best chance to do so. You need to have the best weapons, equipment, attachments, and perks to ensure you survive long enough to acquire and complete the Champion’s Quest contract.

Below are all the recommended primary and secondary weapons you should use:

Primary Loadout

RAM-7

·       Muzzle: Casus Brake

·       Barrel: XRK Coremark 40 Heavy Barrel

·       Stock: HVS 3.4 Pad

·       Underbarrel: Bruen Heavy Support Grip

·       Magazine: 60 Round Drum

Secondary Loadout

RAM-9

·       Muzzle: ZEHMN35 Compensated Flash Hider

·       Barrel: Boreal-6C Suppressed Barrel

·       Stock: Hunker-5 Stock PAd

·       Underbarrel: XTEN Phantom-5 Handstop

·       Magazine: 50 Round Mag

if you’re looking to survive by staying back at longer ranges then you could also equip a sniper rifle but these load-outs feature arguably the top two weapons in Warzone at the time of writing. The RAM-9 and RAM-7 won’t fail you at close or long range, though, so you shouldn’t be at a disadvantage in any engagement.

Let’s see the rest of the class below:

Equipment and Perks

Equipment

·       Lethal: Throwing Knife– A one-hit kill and instant finisher on downed players. The best lethal option right now.

·       Tactical: Smoke Grenade– Stocking up on smokes in your inventory throughout a match is important. You can smoke the armed bomb almost constantly to stay safe while defending it.

Perks

·       Perk Slot 1: Sleight of Hand- Reload Faster. You might not want to be caught in the open while reloading, especially in the final circle of your fifth straight win or with only seconds remaining on the nuke countdown

·       Perk Slot 2: Double Time– Recharge it more quickly and longer tactical sprint duration. Obtaining each Champion’s Quest objective fast is vital.

·       Perk Slot 3: Tempered– Decrease the required number of armor plates to be at full armor from three to two. This perk will keep you attentive to shooting and defending yourself rather than sliding more armor plates into your vest.

·       Perk Slot 4- Ghost– Becomes undetectable by Portable Radars, Heartbeat Sensors, and UAVs.

It’s all up to you when you have your loadout set and you completely understand how to get and activate the Nuke in Warzone. To win the necessary matches and last the entire duration of the Champion’s Quest, you have to survive and play your best. These recommended weapons and perks are ideal for getting 5 consecutive wins and getting a nuke in Warzone. So, try to familiarize yourself with these weapons and attachments, and try to see how each piece of this loadout compliments the others.

Tips to get the Warzone Nuke

warzone nuke aiming enemies

It’s not easy to complete the contract and assemble the Nuke but if you follow the tips below, the probability of getting and detonating the Nuke increases dramatically.

Get a proper loadout.

Once you’ve qualified for the Champion’s Quest contract, in the next game you will have to fight many battles to detonate the Nuke. It’s very difficult to win all those battles without a proper loadout. You should wait till you upgrade your weapons and get the right attachments before accepting the Champions Quest contract. Only when you have the recommended loadout then you should embark on a Champion’s Quest contract.

Attain heights

It’s always best to attain height until you have decided to accept the Champion’s Quest contract. It’s best to move to heights during the contract to ensure you can easily view the location of the next element or the bomb site from a distance.

Gather resources in between

You have a little time in between element disclosures. Time is less but utilize those seconds effectively to gather resources. To ensure all directions can be explored within a few seconds, divide the different areas among the team players. In this way, you can collect more resources in less time.

To ensure everyone can gain maximum health within a short time, one team member should be given the responsibility of carrying armor plates.

Get the right vehicles.

Getting the perfect vehicle for the Champions Quest contract is extremely important. Ideally, you are required 2 types of vehicles.

LTV

The LTV is a great vehicle to handle any terrain and protect your squad. LTV is useful when enemies start attacking after you pick up Be.

Helo

Helo will help you secure a site. Helo also helps you swiftly move from one area to another, which reduces the time needed to find the elements.

Work together as a team.

Working as a team to acquire and detonate the Nuke is always better. A few tips you need to follow as a team include the following.

· Due to the side effects of carrying the element, a single player shouldn’t carry multiple elements.

·  After you pick up the Be, its location will be shown on the map. The player carrying Beryllium should be at the center of the squad so that in case of any attack from another squad, the player can get cover. An isolated player carrying Be is much easier to take down because the location of Beryllium is visible to enemies.

· The players carrying Beryllium shouldn’t scout for the element alone while scouting for the second or third element. One player must remain with that player all the time even while searching for the next element.

· Each team player should be clear about their role in the quest before embarking on the contract.

Escape after grabbing the contract.

You have to move swiftly and use tac sprint wherever possible throughout the contract duration. The aim is to reduce the contract duration because the shorter the duration, the higher the chances of success. Don’t let your guard down in between the elements, when you have time to linger around because doing so is a sure-shot way to get killed, especially after gathering Beryllium, whose location is visible to enemy players.

Hold the elements for as little time as possible.

Every element has a side effect and some elements have a significant side effect. It’s best to decrease the element carrying time to as little as possible. Less damage due to elements means you will have better health or be in a better condition in the end when you are defending the Nuke.

Everyone will aim to find you and your squad and eliminate it to successfully defuse the bomb in the last stage. Muster up your skills and ammo to defend the Nuke for those 2 minutes. Hold the elements for as little time as possible to be on a strong foot at that stage.

Get the right equipment.

Getting a hand on the right equipment before embarking on Champion’s Quest will surely make the victory easy.

Smoke Grenade

A couple of smoke grenades in the backpack of every player in the squad. The smoke grenades are needed when you are arming the Nuke or heading towards the bomb site. Don’t throw the smoke grenades towards the canister as that would provide cover to other players and help them defuse the Nuke.

Thermal optics

Thermal optics are used to see through the smoke. The optics is useful when you are moving through the smoke. If your enemies use the cover of smoke to defuse, then thermal optics will come to your rescue.

Mortar strike

You can purchase Mortar Strike for 4000$ from Buy stations. Use the Mortar strikes to discourage enemies when you arm the Nuke and enemies are swarming around the Nuke to defuse it. To keep the enemies at bay, a pre-emptive strike also works well. A mortar strike can eliminate enemies near the canister as well.

Precision airstrike

A mortar strike is not as accurate as a Precision airstrike. You can utilize the buy stations to purchase it for $6000. It’s easy to eliminate any enemy attempting to diffuse the Nuke by using Precision Airstrike.

Advanced UAV

Launching an Advanced UAV reveals the location of all enemies. You can cross-check that no one is defusing the Nuke in stealth mode as well. It’s easy to eliminate enemies as you will know the enemy’s location in the vicinity. You can use the Advanced UAV to safely migrate the 3 elements or to defend an armed nuke.

Surviving Last Teammate Until Respawn

If you’re the last person to survive in your squad then you must try your best to survive until your teammate respawns in a match. However, if you are eliminated too then the match ends for you and your teammates too. So, surviving as a last member of your team is crucial. Players can redeploy after a countdown as long as a teammate is alive. During the first zone, they can redeploy 15 seconds after being killed and 39 seconds during the second and third Playzones until the Rebirth Countdown runs out after 9 minutes and 15 seconds.

Buying Back Teammates

If you all are left alone and all of your squad is eliminated by the other squads, you can bring them back from the dead via Buy Station. You can find these stations all over the map and can be easily identified on your mini map as a shopping cart.
