Call of Duty BO6 was released last month, and for the first time in recent years, players have praised the game for being what it used to be. It has brought back some core gameplay mechanics and a fun campaign for players trying to enjoy the game casually. Although the campaign is shorter and spans about 8 hours, it is still longer than last year’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3.
Let’s talk about the game for players who are a little more serious about it. There’s an improved anti-cheat for this game, and the hit-reg and hitboxes have also been adjusted. At the same time, some of the other hardcore stuff is still on the way, but the base game is still solid.
However, this blog is for a different thing which is to guide you on how you can get a nuke in the latest version of Call of Duty. what nukes do in the game, what things you need to be careful of, and lastly what cards and rewards you could earn by dropping nukes on your enemies.
How to get a nuke in black ops 6:
So dropping the nukes requirement has not changed a bit yet. You still need to kill a couple dozen players in a match to be able to use them. Like in Call Modern Warfare 2, you had to get a 25-kill streak before calling in a nuke. In black ops 6 this number has been increased from 25 to 30 kills. Not only that, there are some other things you need to keep in mind.
Firstly, you have to get kills through your weapons. This means that your equipment like hell-storm or harp would not get counted in it. So you have to kill the player by aiming at them and killing all of them in a row. Meaning if you die in the process you would have to start from zero again. Calling a nuke after getting those kills is pretty easy and you can call it like you call your every other scorestreak. And as you already know after the nuke hits everybody gets evaporated onto the lobby and you get the hefty match win in your pocket.
Rewards For getting a nuke:
So getting 30 kills in a row in itself is an impressive feat, especially in higher-rank games. Getting a nuke is just another great consequence of that. And to top it all off there are rewards for getting a 30-kill streak in which some cards can be used for the display.
So here are those cards and what they say:
- “Nuclear Killer” Calling Card . for getting a nuke.
- “Nuked Out” Calling Card – getting a nuke in Free For All game mode.
- “Very Nuclear” Calling Card – getting a nuke with 25 different weapons. For Each nuke, you would have to use a different gun throughout.
So these are just display cards and they don’t give you any upper hand apart from them looking cool on your profile.
Best way to get a nuke:
So now you know what is a nuke, what it does, and what rewards it holds. But you still don’t know what is the best way to get to that nuke. But don’t worry I am here to guide you on how to get it done.
Load Out:
So loadout is the most basic thing that might be holding you back. Selecting a primary and secondary gun to use can get complicated since there are so many options present in the game. But don’t worry I’ll give you some tips on how you can select guns and equipment in your load-out. If you don’t have a sharp aim then a rifle would be the best choice since with it you could spray the enemies down while giving them serious damage.
Ak47 would be a great choice since it has really good damage to it while also having a decent long range. The recoil on ak is a bit hard to control so you have to practice it a little bit. Xm4 and model can also be good in short due to their easier recoil pattern but keep in mind they don’t have that great range.
For the secondary, you should choose a gun that has a higher fire rate since if you need a secondary weapon you may already have lowered the enemy, and a gun with a high fire rate will help you kill the enemy a lot quicker. Grekhova pistol or Stryder .22 can be good choices.

Don’t be too aggressive:
After getting a streak of 10 or 15 players get that rush of adrenaline which makes them think that they are invincible. Which at the moment feels awesome but since you’re not invincible in the game it costs them their scorestreak by playing too aggressively and by peeking at everything.
So after getting a good streak, I want you to play with your enemies and use your map positions to your advantage. Avoid open spaces and too crowded ones too. I want you to treat your streak with caution and care. Hold the high ground camp if you like but don’t peek mindlessly.
