Season 22: Shockwave of Apex Legends recently got a mid-season update fixing several bugs, bringing various quality-of-life improvements, gameplay updates, and a brand-new event called Space Hunt. The update brings balance changes to various Legends including Fuse, Rampart, Revenant, and Valkyrie.
The Space Hunt event is currently live until October 8, and if you haven’t noticed it brought a new limited-time mode called Knockout. It is a 60-player, 20-squad battle Royale experience mode in which you have to capture zones to collect EVO points for 3 rounds. Five teams with the most points after three rounds will face each other in the last squad standing for the victory.
Moreover, with the content update, the mid-season update also brings changes to the Season 22 Map Rotation for Pubs, Ranked, and Mixtape. Here is all the detail on the current map rotation in Apex Legends Season 22: Shockwave.
Apex Legends Season 22 Map Rotation for Pubs & Ranked
The new map, E-District is the heart of Season 22: Shockwave as it is a new map in almost two years released earlier in August. For Split 1 of the update, E-District has been in the Map Rotation with Broken Moon and Stormpoint maps for both Pubs and Ranked modes. Well, after the Mid-Season update, you will be glad to hear that E-District is still a part of the map rotation for both Pubs & Ranked modes. However, the rest of the two maps in rotation have been changed.

Apex Legends Map Rotation for Ranked

The Mid-Season update of Season 22: Shockwave brings back the iconic Olympus and Kings Canyon to map rotation allowing players to push their rank onward in Ranked mode. Moreover, the update also brings some changes to the E-District map making it more versatile.
- Added assets to aid in climbing up walls in certain areas
- Added two survey beacons to the north side of the map
- Electro Dam’s spillway slope can now be traversed upwards
- Ground loot and Loot Bin count has been increased
- 100 Loot Bins have been added to the map

With these additions, a couple of adjustments were also made.
