Black Ops 6 is breaking records of hype with new Call of Duty, Treyarch has once again proved how much they care about the Black Ops franchise. With the COD NEXT event, we got details and brand new gameplay for Black Ops6 Warzone. The new Omnimovement will be a part of the Warzone changing the battle royale we all know for once.
New COD brings new weapons with new multiplayer maps and it’s time for the current MW3 meta to come to an end. This time with BO6 there have been core changes to the gameplay mechanics and movement as well as the peeking system. The new auto side peeks on corners is very good and make the gunplay look a lot more realistic.
Black Ops 6 Beta will be live on August 30 at 10 am PDT, get ready to test out the new Warzone for yourself.
Here’s everything coming to COD BO6 and Warzone.
Black Ops 6 Warzone Omnimovement and Unlimited Tactical Sprint
Warzone is receiving unlimited Tactical Sprint with the release of Black Ops 6 and your loadout will now include a dedicated melee slot with a new feature added to the game. Now you don’t have to waste your secondary weapon slot for a knife. BO6 will feature a new dedicated melee slot to equip your knife.
While using your knife in Warzone, you will be able to use unlimited Tac Sprint. This helps make traversing different locations around Area 99 easy the new resurgence map coming to BO6 Warzone as well as Verdansk which will be joining the game in Spring 2025. Area 99 is going to be very competitive and fun when ranked mode drops with BO6 and it’s time to get ready and grind for the Top Players spot.
Warzone 2.0 which was released with MW2 2022 was the reason COD eliminated unlimited Tac Sprint but the fans have been complaining to the devs and they have finally listened. We are now getting the stamina limit removed and it helps a lot with mobility in the game.
Introduction to Global Weapon Builds
Global Weapon Builds is a new system announced at the COD NEXT event and will be carried in BO6. This will allow your Weapon Builds to be carried over in BO6 Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone. The save feature will allow you to make changes to your loadout and then carry them all over to any mode you are playing.
This will include weapon attachments, camos, stickers, and charms. Treyarch explained that saving time is crucial and this will help in player experience as well when they are making changes to loadout with the improved Global weapon builds system.
Backpacks being removed from Warzone
COD is removing backpacks with the launch of BO6 Warzone and is going back to the roots of the Warzone looting system. In Warzone 2, you will have a backpack that will help you store and keep useful items with extra space and ammo.
Now with BO6 Warzone, we are going back to the roots of the battle royale and the loot system will have no extra inventory slots and it will work like it did back in Verdansk. You will have to drop extra loot to pick another loot.
Satchels are also coming back which will help to increase the amount of armor plates you can carry and the Munition plate which will increase the ammo you can carry.
Inventory UI will feature the following slots in BO6 Warzone.

- Gas Mask
- Armor Plates
- Killstreaks
- Field Upgrades
- Primary, Secondary, and Melee Weapons
- Ammo
BO6 Warzone Exclusive Mastery Camos and Classic Prestige
For the first time, Warzone in BO6 will include its own Mastery Camos. There are a total of four Mastery Camos. However, the challenges for the Camos are not yet revealed.

Another new addition to Warzone in BO6 is the the return of classic Prestige system. Now, we know the grind on BO6 is going to be insane and you will be unlocking exclusive rewards for it.
NOTE: Your level will reset at the start of a new Prestige, you can unlock it permanently for a specific weapon using a Permanent Unlock Token.
New Pick-3 Perk System
Black Ops 6 Warzone will be featuring a new system called Pick-3 Perk which will allow you to choose three perks to your loadout and one Wildcard perk.
Different perks will also be available as loot in Area 99 map which can be looted from caches and different main locations. You will also be able to loot other player’s Pick-3 Perk as loot in your matches.
BO6 hype is unreal with Warzone inspired by good old Nuketown and is getting a full-size map and lore to explore the story of Nuketown.
