Episode 6 Act 1 bought a new map of the town. Lotus Valorant map has unique features. The primary feature is the specific doors. It has two rotating doors that are managed with a switchboard on both sides of the door. This door spins at a fast rate and destroys any material placed in its way.

How to Play in Lotus Valorant Map?

You may find yourself engaged in a fight just after the battle begins. This is due to the size of the map and Lotus map Valorant layout. The primary areas to focus on are the A main and C Mound. A main and A rubble are useful to enter the A and B sites. C Mound provides a way to the B and C main. Your plan should include conquering these areas as soon as the battle begins. 

This map has a lot of connections between sites. Attackers can easily find a way to the spawn areas. Using the doors will make too much noise, so it’s better to find alternate ways to get into the sites. You can choose A main, A stairs, or B site to do this.

• Utilize A site as a planting space, since it is wider than the other two sites. Try to take control of A as soon as possible, by smoking the strain and making way to the Tree.
• You can catch the opponent sleeping if you have a tight budget as Attacker spawn lies close to the B site
• You can use the noise from the doors to misguide the enemy. It will be a distraction for them. 
• This map does not allow too many lurks. Players may play defensive utility tactics so it’s better to avoid lurking.
• Never place your utilities near the door. You can place them in the A lobby or C lobby. You can also make space for them in the attacker spawn.

A Site

A site is majorly divided into three sections, a Hut in the center, and rope going to the top, and A drop lying in the back. You can move from A Drop without any noise. You can choose A tree to move to the site as it allows control over other regions. Again, opening the door is essential but it will highlight your position. B site has deep stairs in the center that can prove to be a good spot for headshot angles.

It has a heightened area where a spike can be planted. It is a crucial choke point, with a unique layout. C main provides a route for the attackers to get on site. Lotus Map Valorant Best Agents

Lotus is an even smaller version of the Haven map. It demands agents capable of functioning in compressed regions and achieving small angles precisely. Here are a few of my best choices:

Duelists

Jett: Jett is one the strongest duelists of the Valorant system. It can make space for itself in the compressed area. Lotus map is full of heightened places that can be accessed through Jett. Jett can monitor C mound and A rubble while defenders try to get control over the primary regions.

Raze: Raze has always been the best duelist for every map. The explosive nature will blow out everything, and clear space for the teammates. It is useful for the narrow lanes of Lotus.

Initiator

Fade: I prefer Fade over Sova, due to the small map layout. The Prowlers are excellent at taking close angles. It has a Haunt that can aid in gathering intel.

Breach: Breach would be a great fit, due to its capability of flashing. It makes early map control easier. Haunt and Recon are not good choices for this map due to heightened places with closed areas.

Controller

Astra: Astra emerges strong with the smoke tool between A root and A rubble. It can move across the map. If A stairs are yours, you can easily get into A main and A tree with Astra. 

Omen: As he is the best pick for anyone who loves Haven, it would prove great for Lotus too. The rechargeable smoke can be used anywhere in the three sites. It passes across the sight line. 

Sentinels

Killjoy: Killjoy can get valuable information for the defenders. Here, the nano swarms will be valuable. Lockdown will allow site takes and prevent Breach from destroying the battle.

Chamber: The Chamber can be your primary operator. He can play his aggressiveness,  as the map allows it to do this safely.
