Destiny 2: Taraxippos God Roll – How to Get It – 2024

The Season of Defiance brings the Guardian Games event back to Destiny 2 providing a chance for players to get their hands on an exclusive legendary weapon. This year’s exclusive legendary weapon is Taraxippos , the first and only Strand Scout Rifle in the game. Traxippos weapon comes with its own unique Rolls for both PvE and PvP that you need to look out for to find the best ones.

The following guide will assist you in how you can get your hands on Taraxippos Weapon and the best Rolls for both PvE and PvP that you need to look for while farming Traxippos.

Another important thing that I’d like to mention is that if any of you guys are looking to improve your Destiny 2 gameplay then nothing to worry about because we are now offering Destiny 2 Boosting for you guys!

How to Get Traxippos Weapon

Taraxippos Weapon is added with the Guardian Games event and you can get it until the event is live from May 2 to May 23. There are two different methods through which you can get your hands on Traxippos Weapon. One is completing the Best in Class quest, an exclusive Guardian Games event quest given by Eva Levante at the tower, and the second one is completing the Guardian Games Playlists.

The first method is a guaranteed drop of Taraxippos Weapon with Zen Moment and Kill Clip/Explosive Payload perks that can be used for PvE or PvP Rolls. The Zen Moment and Explosive Payload is a decent roll for PvE but you can achieve a much better roll by farming Traxippos with the second method.

To get the exclusive Guardian Games weapon, you’ll need to collect different kinds of medals (Silver, Gold, and Platinum) and put them in your class bank. The rarer the medal, the better your chances of getting the weapon. So, to farm efficiently, it’s best to concentrate on getting Platinum medals, especially by finishing the Platinum Card: Lost Sector. With the Platinum Medals, you will be able to light up all the beacons through which you can get multiple drops of Traxippos containing a random roll for both PvE and PvP.

Traxippos PvE God Roll

For Traxippos PvE God Roll, you need to look for the Taraxippos weapon with the following weapon perks.

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
  • Magazine: Flared Magwell or Appended Magwell
  • Perk 1: Outlaw
  • Perk 2: Explosive Payload
  • Origin Trait: Classy Contender

The Arrowhead Barrel allows you to control weapons efficiently and can laser enemies. The Flared Magwell further increases the stability of the weapon as well as increases the reload speed of the weapon. If you get Appended Magwell then that is not bad as well as you get more bullets in the weapon’s magazine. The main things you need to look out for are the perks and in the PvE case that is the Outlaw and Explosive Payload. Outlaw greatly decreases the reload time every time you get a precision kill and the Explosive Payload creates an AOE detonation on impact that deals a great amount of damage.

Traxippos PvP God Roll

For Traxippos PvE God Roll, you need to look for the Traxippos weapon with the following weapon perks.

  • Barrel: Arrowhead Brake
  • Magazine: Accurized Rounds
  • Perk 1: Zen Moment or Outlaw
  • Perk 2: Kill Clip
  • Origin Trait: Classy Contender

Getting the PvP God Roll can be a tricky one because there are a lot of factors in fighting real players. As most of the real players will keep themselves at a longer range it is best to increase the range for the weapon with Accurized Rounds and with the Arrowhead Brake combined, you will be able to shoot in a straight line at a longer range.

For the main perks of the weapon, you can use Zen Moment to further reduce the weapon’s recoil by dealing damage to the enemies. Alternatively, the Outlaw perk can be of great use here with the Kill Clip. As Kill Clip grants increased damage reloading after a kill, Outlaw will decrease the reload time after you get a precision kill. So together these skills build up a great synergy allowing you to stay close to enemies and deal great damage to them without spending a lot of time on reloading.

Best God Roll with Strand Subclass

Traxippos can be used with any Subclass but if you are running the Strand Subclass, you can look for the following roll on Traxippos weapon when you farm it.

  • Perk 1: Outlaw
  • Perk 2: Hatchling

You will be creating Threadlings left and right on the enemy’s location by doing precision kills and defeating enemies at a faster rate with this roll.

Traxippos is a great Scout Rifle with various combinations of perks that can be used efficiently to increase the experience with the weapon. Make sure to get it while you can to utilize it with your special weapons.
